This is one of the many games that I really care about this holiday season. I think the Frostbite 2 engine helps me push forward to picking this up.

No, the early adopters over paid by 80 dollars. If you looked at the Wii and the DS, you would have seen that the 3DS wasn't worth 250 US dollars. Yes, As a consumer, I know that Nintendo was and still is being greedy by pricing the 3DS at 250 from the beginning. But I also knew that none of their systems was ever worth that much and I knew that their console was going to drop in price before I even cared to even buy one.

No one told you to be an early adopter with such a weak launch line up. I waited and was happy to see a price drop because I didn't see any games that was worth the investment at the time. The only game that peaked my interest was Legend of Zelda, but I already had that on my N64.

DICE already said they will not do annually releases of battlefield and I'm sure EA can't do anything about it.
No one, other than DICE can make a BF game like they can. I'm sure we will see other shooters from EA as a whole, but how many of them will be using the Forstbite 2 engine.

I bought the limited edition when it first came out. I got the code, I thought it was the online pass and the code to get the weapons early. No problem, I still have the case at home I will see if anything was in there.
Seeing as how there was no code when I first bought the game, I pretty much presumed I needed the game to play the beta. Glad I kept the game.

The only reason the game sales is because most people don't believe in change. They get lost if something is dramatically different from what they are used to. That is not really a bad thing, but most people miss out on some really great games due to the fact that they worship one game. And that is not just COD, but Sports games and trilogies. To each their own, I can't tell them how to spend their money, just let them know of a better or different product.

I know what you mean. After school I had the TV on while I was doing homework and browsing the web, I haven't seen any commercials for a Sony product. I think it depends on what channel you are on because I don't remember seeing a Microsoft commercial either, but I did for Nintendo.
The other day I saw a Gears commercial, but it was the one with the free 360 with a PC purchase.

It's true. Once Dead Island was released it over shadowed Resistance. I bought both and spent most of my time playing Resistance 3 than Dead Island. Zombie games tend to sell a lot more than other games on the market, when you don't add COD or most shooters in the equation.

I live in NYC. So, I know crazy stuff happens all the time, but really a week before the game releases? Does the guy have no job or something? If he doesn't he should be using that time to go look for one. To each their own. I have better things to do than to be at a retailer store a week before a game releases.
