I plan on going to bestbuy that is right across from Gamestop to get a 42 inch TV to replace my 32 inch in the bedroom and a 24 inch for the bathroom. I also might have get a wall mount for the 42 inch to free up some room.
As for gamestop, I will be getting a PS3 and a 360. If there is anything left from my check, two controllers for the PS3, A copy of Rayman for the Wii and PS3, Need for speed, Battlefield and legend of Zelda.
I want an article for every game that comes for why I should hate it. Then I can make a post saying why I like it and say wow his opinions have no influence on me.
But their deals make up for it. Same with EA and Activision, most of their games make up for it.
I don't remember correctly, but I'm sure if you purchase the display before December 20, you would get a copy uncharted free. I'm an employee there and we got the email about it yesterday.
The 60 dollar price will come off the display, when uncharted 3 is put into the same transaction as the display. No preorder necessary.
I wish I could get in contact with this site to let them know. I will comment again in a bit, when I check the emails again. ...
As an employee I have to agree with you about them not caring about the customers as much, but in the end you can't blame just Gamestop and there are ways to get more than 30 dollars for your games. Also when you look at it, it's like you're only paying 30 dollars for your next game if you get back half of what you paid. Other times you don't get that and I remember last year the only game that got that or more was Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Most stores now have...
Does anyone know if these deals will apply if I order online. I want to make some purchases at work and don't want to miss the chance to get both console at a steal.
I have a reason to think, why should I listen to you. What did that someone say? Why should I waste my time renting it, if it's as you say. More or less I think the demo would help with making the choice. I, for one will be buying day one.
GameStop is doing the same thing. Except it starts this Sunday and it's a 250 GB 360 without a kinect, 2 games ( fable 3 and halo: reach Code) and 3 free months of live. Also it's not a 100 dollar gift card, it's a 60 dollar gift card.
The 4 gig with a kinect gets the 100 dollar gift card.
I think at max, 3 Disc. Depends on what else they add.
@ raWfodog & shikamaroooo
Thats why I said, if they wanted more islands they would have used more than one disc. But seeing as how GTA had a lot going one with all the mini games, friends, cars, Etc. why wouldn't they want to use more than one disc, they would make the money back anyway.
With GTA V being announced, this might help Boost sells for Saint's Row the third. People are waiting for an over the top GTA and Saint's Row is the cure for those people. I see this a PR boost for THQ and not not a bullying tactic. Whether Rockstar thinks of it like that or not.
Also it's not like GTA V is releasing this year. Also SR has a fan base already. It will sell!
Also take a look at this... 5308d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
Isn't this the same as when Square Enix announced FF13-2 and everyone asked where is versus 13?
For me it's a different story I'm waiting for Versus 13 and want it more than Agent, since I know more about Versus 13 than I do about Agent. That doesn't mean I won't buy Agent when it releases.
I don't think so. The PS2 had all the 3 islands, but that was Standard Definition. If they wanted all three islands they would use more than one disc. They know GTA V would sell like crack and make the money back for them.
Los Santos has to be one big place, because GTA IV map was big enough to have a lot going on.
You also have to take into consideration how many consoles were in peoples homes when both games came out and the time of the year when they came out.
Not only the user base on the PS3, but the user base on the 360. Also remember that blacks Ops came out on 5 different consoles and not just 2 on its release day.
I don't think it will sell better than MW3, but in the end it doesn't matter. GTAV doesn't come out this year. When GTAV comes out next year along side the next COD then we can have this conversation and say which one we think will sell better than the other.
Since GTAV is going back to San Andreas days, GTAV will sell very well when it comes out.
I don't remember ever buying a second PS3 because I had to. I bought a second one because I wanted to.
My fat ps3 is still going strong and my slim ps3 is as strong as Race horse.
2 more weeks. I will have to share a lot of time with this, Saint's Row and Rayman.
Rockstar tennis for the Wii/X360. Not so much shovelware, but not their best. It was a great game and Rockstar did show that they didn't need to do the same thing over and over to stay in the game.
It's not like Rockstar has to do them and stop making it seem like you didn't want things to change in some of the games you have played.
We all wished things went differently in the games we've played, but it was to late. This is the time that you can throw it out there and see if the dev will bite and take a look at it. Again, it's not like the Dev has to.
I agree with Alpha. The three games alpha listed plus the Tales of Graces game that is coming to the US, will start and end my 2012 off right.
Every year/season is great if there issomething gaming related to look forward too. I also have the vita and hopefully Kingdom hearts 3Ds comes out next year. My wallet already hurts.
