LoL. Have you actually played LittleBigPlanet. Most of the content is USER CREATED which means there's its not necessary to put all that stuff on the disc.
BTW...if you haven't noticed, there's been tons of DLC content in the PSN Store. Those are files that once again were not on the disc.
They cleverly used their space and I'm sure LBP2 will be the same way.

LoL. You said your Xbox 360 ONLY broke once as if that's a good thing. How about owning a console that doesn't break at all. Please see my Wii and multiple PS3 consoles for examples.

Yes there are great games not exclusive to a console. Seriously before you guys jump down someone's threat, try to think of things from every side.
Nitpicking is pointless in debate. Even with your posts, you illustrate further why Blu-Ray is necessary. All those games you listed are limited in space because of the Xbox 360. Not vice versa....

First off, yes you could jockey in last year's game. You could not do the following:
1) Running Jockey
2) Press Jockey
3) Running Jockey while pressing with teammate
If you don't know the difference between sprinting, running, and the limited jockey control we had last season, you don't know much about football.

You're being completely myopic. Neither game is out so we can't say one is better than the other.
Basing your "purchase" decision on a demo is rather short sighted. If you look at the features proposed by both games, it's a no brainer because the football on the pitch isn't really that different anymore.
I was playing both games at the same time without any problem. They have different tweaks but for me, PES won't be able to ch...
I've never been able to juggle a football in PES. FIFA series was doing that back in the 1998 game.
All the stuff you listed is kind of dated.
I didn't see any of those problems in FIFA last year. I still play it quite frequently. Well the whole stealing the ball with one button...that can be done in both games.
Only big problem with FIFA is the player collison system.
PES suffered from lack of creativity and even the players seem a bit stiff last year. The graphics however were definitely great. But the online play was horrible!
paid demos, ads, and movie trailers....well look no further than Xbox Live! All it costs is...$60 a year to be flooded visually with colorful ads you don't care about, demos you get after the PS3, and features like ESPN 3, Twitter, Last.FM, and Facebook that are free on the PC!
This is the age of underestimating. I'll be picking up Two Move controllers and a game myself. I expect lots of people will be buying another Move controller shortly after to share the fun with their friends.
Even if they only sell 1 million initially, just remember a lot of those people are going to go back for extra Move controllers and other accessories. Then their friends will go pick it up. By the time Christmas comes around, it will be a hot ticket item.
I love it when people bring out the facts because all the hater just have to shut their traps.
All these talk about what the Wii2 will do. LoL. Makes me laugh. Many people bought a Wii but we'll see how many of those people make the same mistake twice. You got a lot of casual buyers out of this first console. That won't happen again.
I look forward to getting my hands on this demo. I'm still probably going to pick up FIFA but I'll probably pick up a copy of Pro Evo if the demo impresses.
I agree with the concept of the article...just not necessarily all the reasoning.
1) Gamers are sheep. Microsoft raises Xbox Live prices. The majority bends over and pays. Sony tells you can only have 5 PS3s attached to your PSN ID. We don't unite and force them to change the policy.
2) Gamers in general don't support new IPs especially now. ModNation Racers is 10X the racer Mario Kart was but gets perhaps 1/50 of the respect. LittleBigPlanet, Alan Wa...
Apparently non-gamers buy more games than you do. Have you seen wii software sales? Epic to say the least.

For me, the series was ruined after the first game. Master Chief was the only character I know that could take out a man at 300 yards with just a hand pistol. Then all of sudden, he's given a battle rifle that can't take out a person at point blank range. Losing that pistol changed the MC's entire personality to me.
That said, the story is what keeps people coming back to Halo. Unfortunately for me, I just hate the fact Master Chief became more of an ordinary soli...

Mostly because the PS3 Jailbreak seems to be the flavor of the month. It costs practically nothing to modify your PC or Xbox 360 to play games.
It just seemed that everyone including Xbox fanboys were lining up to mod their PS3s.
I don't understand modding any console period. I don't ever recall modding consoles to be so expensive and for so many people to hop on the bandwagon at first sight.
