The same people that were not interested in kinect last time are not going to be interested this time. Plus add in the privacy concerns and what you have is an addon that not many people even want.
Kinect isn't a success at all. Look at the game sales vs non-kinect games. They have invested too much in the tech to drop it that is all.

What is that about? Happens to me all the time, the guys at work are sick of me saying I was having an awesome game with X kills and the game froze. I figured it had just crashed, unlike when you are actually kicked from the game. Only happens on good rounds.

Unless you take into account the cloud. We don't know which will be the more powerful GAMING platform yet. We don't know what the cloud brings to the table... a console is more than just hardware.
