Sony lie. What is stupid is people believing what Sony says in a console launch. They release a wish list as a console spec.

I lost faith from the PS3 fiasco. I don't trust Sony until the console is released, they have lied in the past and, judging by the disagrees anyone gets for saying this, have gotten away with it.
All the fanboy crap aside, I don't trust console announcements, period. But this site only recognises negativity as fanboys because this is all the site contains so I don't even know why I am bothering.

Kinect games don't sell yet they have still invested heavily in the tech so they will continue to push it, sales or no sales. MS needs to give us more than it did in the current gen or we will look elsewhere. If they think they can just focus on 3 tired franchises that have been milked already, they are in for a huge shock. There are a few annoyed xbox gamers out there expecting MS to lift their game or GTFO. Gamers want games, we don't give a shit about functionality our PCs or TVs c...
I don't think the MS strategy is anywhere near the same as when they first arrived on the console scene. As a long time Xbox customer I will probably switch this gen to either PS or just get a PC. I don't think MS cares any more about core gamers, they are following the greed model at the detriment of their fans.
MS really needs to do a 180 or I simply am not interested next gen.

Sega may be at fault as well for unrealistic constraints. Budget or time wise. Not saying they are but it is often the case, the company supplying the money makes the rules.
Only fanboys and trolls care about console sales. The actual companies care about software sales, and in MS case, also Live revenue. Unless console sales are dire, there is nothing to worry about, there will be new consoles next gen. This is why they are happy to sell a console at a loss at launch.
making and publishing are different things and gearbox fall somewhere in between on this one. they basically released it as a lot of work had been done and was going to go to waste. their only mistake was charging full price for the pile of crap. it should have been a $10-15 download or something.
when 99% of the game was done, gearbox can't really be referred to as making it. I am glad people think they did make it though because of the above. they basically ripped ever...
there are a lot of games that play exactly the same with clichéd boring storylines. I don't think it is that he doesn't enjoy games, i think he is just bored with the lack of innovation. when the biggest sellers are the least innovative this will be the problem... boredom.
I agree with him somewhat but far cry 3 was a breath of fresh air and restored a lot of fun for me.
Co-op is a huge let down, if i wanted to play cod i would buy cod.
