They really are going after CoD this time around. It is only us gamers that will lose out... BF has been slowly dumbed down more and more to get the casual crowd I am starting to lose interest. All I see is linear scripted gameplay broken up with cutscenes, but at 60 frames no less. Look at the purdy pixels.
Just show us multiplayer already, we don't care about the campaign, if we want to play CoD we'll buy CoD.

I am concerned. The company that is losing money is focussing on games, the company that makes money is focusing on anything but games. Personally I don't see either acting very smart. I will probably go PC this time around and get a console in a few years if I feel the need.

The 1st xbox targeted PC gamers and was more hardcore. The 360 switched tactics when the wii was killing everything. MS realised there is more money to be made from non-gamers than gamers and effectively screwed their loyal fanbase in the process. The next one will probably be their last if they continue this idiotic trend of non-gaming business execs making all the decisions. They entered this race being about the games and are now only interested in the money.
