Yes, Sony is aware of that. But Sony has to take care of their own dev kits and development processes. And that's what they will focus on.
M$ can continue to make their games as they want to.
Most Sony fanboy's are aware of M$'s evil ways. I assure you.
You said "xflop!" LOL!
I disagree with the "paid by M$." Instead it should be about xbot reviewers (Garnet Lee is anti-Warhawk and anti-Lair). He always whines about the sixaxis. Plus, he's old school and we all know about old dogs learning new tricks.
The rest of the comments make good points.
ElementX likes you. And that's NO Joke!
:P
When, I said that that link was OUTDATED. I meant that it was either true at the time BUT NOT anymore. Or that it was just plain wrong.
Do you really want me to refute EVERY SINGLE ONE of your "facts?" I can...

Some games aren't made for on-line.
Jeremy,
That link you posted is from June, 2006. It's OUTDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's not what happened. Actually Warhawk was not over hyped. It was actually under hyped because of the shake up at the company in which there were reports that there was a conflict regarding single player being cut out. The devs believed that SP was not very fun and they needed to focus on MP instead. This was reported in blogs about 3-4 months ago as, "Warhawk development stalls! Egads!"
After that people kind of forgot about the game UNTIL...beta testers started ...
alaaji,
Yes. I got that. But I just didn't like your analogy to Window since it is NOT a commodity. Microsoft gets massive revenues from the sales of their "90%" market share. Now, while you might say that no one will care. I think that open-standards like http, browsers, HTML, OpenGL, w3c specs, USB, SATA, IEEE 1394, mp3 php, perl, c++, objc, x86, AMD64, EMT64T, etc...are better standards that can be comoditized (sp) that are NOT controlled by any ONE company. A sing...
Could you pull your head out of your posterior for just a second. The reason that Bioshock didn't get marked off for no on-line is because it's a story based game from the perspective of a single player. Having an on-line Bioshock in which the main characters is running around shooting other on-line main characters is dumb -- similar to "The Darkness's" online. So, what jsin is saying is that Warkhawk is a team based battle game. That's the main feature of the game. ON-LINE PLAY! A...
Nice on paper, but bad in practice.
Small lead in standalone players...
Yep. It's on pace to get 400K per household for standalone hd dvd players. And 300K standalone blu-ray players by the end of 2007. This does NOT include the 4.7 MIL PS3s already on the market.
And here's an interesting article...

Microsoft Windows runs on 90% of desktop computers. Not all computers in the world. You forget Linux servers, which is more open to standards that are NOT controlled by one company.
Kholinar,
Sony never had a monopoly in any market. Even during the PS2 days (65%). That's far from the 90% that Microsoft has in the operating system market. Just wanted to point that out.
PimpDaddy,
Are you willing to hold on to those ideas/comments for the next 3-4 years? Dare I say you are very shortsighted.
When you finally buy your PS3 ($399?). You will understand...
Try this one...

EOM
Coming this Wednesday on the PSN!
The lesser of two evils my friend.
I'll compare Sony's moderate laundry list against M$'s huge rap sheet, any day.
We can first start with the DOJ.
