The reason paramount shifted over is because they NEEDED THE MONEY NOW! Not later. They didn't do as well as Fox, Disney, and Sony this last quarter in sales. So, instead of waiting a few months for Transformers to come out. They decided to take the money and run.

Sorry. Sparky. But the reason that the PS2 looked worse than the xbox1 was because the PS2 was made in 2000 and the xbox1 was made 22 months later with a new Nvidia graphic card. It's called progress.
No matter what the the devs did on the PS2 they could never get the hardware to out perform the xbox 1 since it was almost two years behind hardware wise.

The PS3 has been in the top 20 for 55 weeks. Sometimes it will drop to 3rd-5th. But it goes right back up to 1st ever since the price drop.
