Pretty much this. JoJo's (part1-6+SBR), Berserk and Rurouni Kenshin are my favorite series of all times. Oh, and add Vin(Farm)land Saga to that.
...also, The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer xD.
Can't wait for this game to be released! Day 1 Import for me!
Yep, the PS1 (and later DreamCast) JoJo game was a port from the arcade game, "JoJo's Venture". This arcade game later received an update with all the console characters (as well as several new moves and improvments) in "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the future".
The PS2 later got the VERY odd "Le Bizzarre Avventure di GioGio: Vento Aureo" focusing on part 5 and years later the part 1-centered "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: ...
so awesome!!!
Yoshikage Kira+Killer Bee! Diavolo+King Crimson! Giorno+Gold Experience! Enrico Pucci+his upgradable stands!
oh hell yeah!!!
If we can get as many part 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 characters in there as possible, I'll be happy as can be!!! Yoshikage Kira+Killer Bee! Diavolo+King Crimson! Giorno+Gold Experience! Enrico Pucci+his upgradable stands!
No M.Bison/Vega/Dictator on the list... tsk tsk
Well, Superboy Prime is awesome, but fatalities are usually reserver for the villains. Still, MK should be brutal, DC over the top. No fatalities needed here, it's a different franchise. Make the fighting good and I'll buy it :)
Looks great. They should have shown this during the presentation instead of failbook...
"Konami's E3 Pre-Show is one of the Best they've had in years"
Ummmm, this is their 2nd E3 pre-show...
MK (2011) for $24.49 with all of it's DLC!!? That's one hell of a good deal! It's basically the Komplete Edition at $20 less and all digital. SOLD!
Honestly? Most of us think it's waaaay better than WOW ever was. The lack of "kill 10 rats"-type quests Ad Nauseum is a great change on it's own, add the gorgeous world and awesome combat and it makes even BC WOW look like a relic of several gens past.
Did you PLAY the beta? Seriously, EVERYTHING is new. Comparing this to WOW is like day and night, both visually and as far as gameplay goes.
TERA is certainly a gorgeous-looking MMO and I love the combat system, but that monthly sub fee kills it for me. With Guild Wars 2 on the horizon ("when it's ready"), I see no reason to get TERA, sadly.
The BAM's are great and I loved how the combat is action oriented, but even with all it's upsides, the game just feels waaaaaaaaaaay to grindy/fetch-questy for my taste. The unrefined PvP doesn't help. Shame too, since it certainly had potential (and ...
...this is news? *shakes head*
Ummmm no dude, it's imageshack. Get your PC checked for mal/spyware or something, imageshack is al legit as photobucket and tinypic.
Greatly enjoyed the GW2 beta, looking forward to BWE2. Can't wait to get my hands on Sylvari and Asura races.
Problem is, the game isn't good. It's riddled with issues and most players left exactly because of this. With Diablo 3, WOW, TERA and GW2 around, TOR really has not space in anyones time slot save for the most dedicated fans... and even then it's not worth the $15/mo price of admission for not doing anything better than the competition.
"I see characters and their move sets as kind of like chess pieces."
Thank you Harada, this is the way it should be. Can't wait for TxSF since I never bothered with SFxT, which I'm glad I didn't.
I'm a little torn in how I feel. The thing is, it stacks up GREAT against other MMO's. The combat is way better, the graphics are drop-dead gorgeous, the world is beautiful and huge and the game feels, in general, very polished. There's no smoke and mirrors here: if you look at a gameplay video, what you see is what you get. The dungeons and specially the bosses are a treat.
Now, for the bad part (and this may simply be a personal thing), but for me, it's just...
My thoughts exactly.
I understand (since I work in sales accounting) that import sales will draw some numbers from the NA release, this has ALWAYS been the case. However, I'd be surprised if importers amount to even a 5% in "lost game sales" for the NA region and hell, most of them (collectors for the most part) will end up getting the NA release anyways!
I love Atlus, they've shipped games westside we would likely never have gotten, and I...
