Everything you said is true but gaming is an expensive hobby. I bought the PS4, then sold it to get the PS4 Pro and spent a little more. I then over the years bought extra controllers, docking stations to charge controllers, PSVR, etc. The only thing I think is funny is that people are pointing their fingers at the Switch and reaching for any reason that they can to put a negative in the con column.

Maybe I'm the odd one out but I don't see the price a barrier. (This is my subjective opinion based on my own set of circumstances) I never go hog wild when buying a new console. I don't buy additional controllers at first. I buy 1, maybe 2 games and that's it. I have a busy life and I LOVE games! So in the small moments, I have time, I play games on my PS4, PC, Galaxy, XBOX1 and possibly the Switch.

I agree. The wii u ranged from 300 to 350. 3ds was 250. I see no problem with 300 as it's a combo of a console and a handheld. I see the Switch being more successful than the Wii U but I highly doubt that fanboys will see through an objective lens.

It would be interesting if they tried a leapfrog strategy, wherein they would release the more powerful dock then a few years down the road release a new switch tablet, then repeat ad nauseum.
