They never had any real comp. PS1 didn't start in a major hole. There was nothing on the market at that time that was more appealing to gamers. They had nintendo 64 and Saturn which in no way was comp to ps1.

Brute Force and Perfect Dark Zero, and they were dead on with that. I brought Brute Force the first day it came out, and after the first 4 levels, enemies and boss repeated except they had different names and different clothing.
