I've grown ind of tired of the sandbox gaming for now, I have Alan Wake and its a great game. Funny thing is my woman loves the game and she hates video games. She loves the story. The only problem I have is the game gets predictable at times you know when enemies are about to attack. The controls can be a little cumbersome, but the game is good Alan's manager is a funny dude in the game.
The concept art work, lighting, and over all concept of the game was excellent. I liked how they even broke the game up into epiosdes... Last time on Alan Wake. The only issue I had was the controls the dodging was cumbersome at best other then that I loved it
Isn't that bad its actually do able. Hell, I can trade two games plus use my game stop card for an additional ten percent off or what ever percent off promotion they have during the time. I could possible get the hardware down to 80 bucks.

It's really not your cup of tea, Take my advice though, play the First Halo. The single Campaign is a classic. Two and three are alright, nothing special. Halo ODST brought an open world to Halo which was a welcome addition, and also moved away from being Master Chief. However, the short campaign and lack of variety of enemies weapon selections, and scenes really dulls the experience.

Some things in Heavy Rain Shines, and there are some down falls. For example, objects and characters look good when the cam starts to pan toward them, but as soon as the cam starts to pan away from the character the more generic the object looks. case in point, take a look at the start of the game as the cam pans on the main character when it pans from a far the lighting and scene is kick a%^, but look at how cartoonish he looks from a far.

To me, a game that balances both cut scenes and game play should be judged. 9 hours of cut scenes is a little bit much, in my opinion. You want to be apart of the main characters world, but you don't want to feed too much info to the point of confusion.

I mean, yeah its not needed, but its well put together. The images aren't useless clips put together to show off the creativity of the staff. These images are used to tell a quick story of Krato's story between both parts of God of War. On top of that, you can skip it, and it will not effect the game what so ever.
