I really don't understand why MS is even bothering in Japan. I'm being serious. It is nothing to so with the company or hardware.
Unless they are suddenly going to investing in multiple development teams making great Japanese market specific games, they will make no inroads. In fact those development teams needed to start about working 2-3 years ago.

Hmm, the footage didn't impress me. Visuals were not on a par with some of the other Next Gen games, and game play was nothing that we haven't seem a hundred times. This has lowered on my list.
You all know that companies pay big money to get in catalogs?! Nothing to do with Toys Are Us selecting content. It is advertising space for sale. MS obviously chose to be listed, which is smart marketing.

I actually think that was an intelligent response from Microsoft. There is no point arguing "its not true" again, it wouldn't convince anyone who already believes it. Plus, it is highly unlikely that MS has got their hands on a PS4 to actually know if it is true or not. Only 3rd party devs with both development kits are in that position and unfortunately for MS they are the ones saying it (not Sony).

I really don't understand why anyone would buy a console based off the launch titles?! A console will be with you for years (presumably) not just the launch window.
Surely looking at exclusives launched throughout the whole life-cycle of current gen is a better guide for which camp makes the games that appeal to you most.
