It was the forerunner to the Commodore 64. I am unfortunately old enough to remember.
The Vic 20 was affordable but lacked power and didn't sell well. The 64 was a powerhouse and part of the change where households started to own a computer.
The game looks interesting. Hope it makes it to console.
TLDR
You misunderstand me, I think, seeing me as some moralistic anti-sex crusader. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m not a prude, have no interest in propagating a fear of sex or taboo with my children. Personally, I think the game looks hysterical and fun.
I do think that we disagree on the point of “children are just young adults”, which I believe is both scientifically and psychologically untrue. 15 is very different to 11 which is very differe...
Understand. I don't actually disagree with you. Not suggesting YouTube is good at consistently applying it policies and drawing lines is always grey.
One of the challenges I guess is where else to post it? Where can you post it that people can easily see it, but has at least a modicum of age rating and viewing control?
Without getting into the whole debate, really there is no safe place for children on the internet. As a parent, I don't want to prohi...
Clearly most of the comments above are from people without children.
Nothing against the game, and I am against censorship, with the exception of extreme content, and this is clearly not that.
Just think that sexualised content (the fact it is anime is irrelevant) should be reserved for appropriate places and Youtube, which is viewed by children and has no ratings system, is not one of them.
My personal reasons:
* PS4 is more powerful with better 3rd party ports
* Yet cheaper
* Sony has proven it will delivery better exclusives over a longer period than MS
* DS4
Tried sooo hard to like absolution but couldn't. Would not buy another.
Personally, I think and the customers should send it back.
If the shoe was on the other foot or they were the employee who made the mistake they would think very differently.
@Thomaticus It has an auxiliary port at the top which as yet is unused. I have always wondered if they will release a peripheral that connects at the top and adds the L2/R2 buttons.
Personally I think that would be awesome and the best of bother worlds. Keep the Vita flat and small for easy of carrying and just clip on the buttons for the games that need them.
That is just sooo brilliant. Loved the 2600.
As good as Titanfall looks like it will be, the problem with it selling XBOs is that it is also released on 360. Why upgrade, just buy the game on 360. That will severely limit the number of XBOs it sells.
Personally I think remote play works great and having the inter-operability between the 2 devices is a great feature.
What many companies still don't understand, is that it is now a global economy far more than ever before, and high disparity regional pricing etc don't work anymore.
Everybody can see the price of an item in virtually every shop in the entire world in seconds on the internet and compare. Did they think no-one would notice the disparity between x-box and ps4 prices?
Consumer are informed more than ever before and make their buying decision accordingly....
Yeah, this is nothing new. We just laugh, ignore them, and buy games at retail where they are much cheaper through competition.
I still can't understand how you can accidentally release a game in the wrong resolution in the fist place. The mind boggles. IW have not done themselves justice on this one.
One thing that he said that I thought was interesting, and I have wondered about myself is more games as serials. i.e. Like the Walking Dead, but AAA with full-on graphics 3D worlds etc. It certainly wouldn't work for all games, but maybe for some. Pay $5 per episode rather than $60 up front. Think TV shows, thing Sherlock Homes (was originally a serial in the paper).
They would still have the build the essential game upfront, but the point is that they don't have to ...
2014 best case?! Yeah right. I would love that to be true, but these guys are perfectionists, get obsessed, projects run over time. I will believe it when I see it, but my money is on 2015. Would love to be wrong.
I hope mine will be made in Japan.
1080p certainly crisper and clearer.
People think that they want this because they feel nostalgic. But in reality games today are far better (we have come a long way) and I believe N64 games will get boring very quickly after the initial nostalgic induced excitement wears off. I know I will get disagrees. Oh well.
