ReSPAWN is an Indie studio because they own the Titanfall IP and they themselves are not owned by MS or EA.....so whats wrong with Indies. Indies doesn't mean a garage of 1-10 people working on a game...all it means is that the studio is independent of a publicly traded company.
Why? The line-up is perfect....why would Sony send more games to go up against GT6, GTA 5, COD:G,Madden, Fifa, ACIV, Battlefield 4, Watch_dog this holiday season.

No...the same can be said for any other brand, all I can say is that MS has gotten a LOT of flak....not all of it deserved though.

Its still a very good deal.
It's still cheaper to buy a PS4+Fifa and this is only for Pre-orders and generally Fifa and COD fans aren't the ones pre-ordering Xbones.

CBOAT always gives negative Xbox news. Either Yield issues, production issues etc now it's SDK performance issues.
On the Sony side Mortimer(insider) said that Sony will hold announcements back from Gamescom (suggesting lack of new titles for PS4) and Verendus(insider) told expects to be impressed.
So quite a bit of interesting info from GAF this week.

PS4 has in game chat, its more powerful, all Sony exclusive games had dedicated servers eg. Warhawk, Killzone, Gran Turismo this gen whilst MS's didn't and Drive Club and Killzone: SF will also have dedicated servers and its $100 cheaper. You know what their is no point trying to explain :/

Put it this way it removes the need for a cable-box. Sony is banking on IPTV while MS is banking on existing cable networks.

Its great that MS are giving it away. It's to help Microsoft's bad PR image in light of the earlier DRM scandal and so on.
And yet the system is still weaker than the PS4.
Sony is an 80 billion dollar a year corporation with 21.5 billion dolllars in cash reserves and some of the best engineers in the world. MS spent 1 billion dollars on a controller that still in 2013 runs on AA batteries. Sony may not have as big cash reserves as MS but they still managed to build a better studio network and a console with superior hardware.
