Everyone of his reviews are that the games are abysmal. Vote him off this website, can't stand hit-seekers.
I agree, I always wanted to give this series another try but there were so many iterations already I just didn't want to buy them all.
I always wanted to try this game, I wish they would release it on PSN and XBLA.
Give us an HD trilogy pack of all 3 on PS3. So many people (like me) enjoyed the original and never had the chance to play the sequels.
It was released far too early (Shipped with 3 maps) and died fast. If the game had more time to develop, it could've been awesome.
I don't have anything against a wide range of reviews on a title, but is it just me or has Gamespot gotten extra critical in all their latest reviews?
I worked on a mod team about 5-6 years ago that was recreating this in Half-Life with the classic camera angles and all. We had a full set of the original background renders to work from. It eventually died and became Resident Evil: Cold Blood.
The first was a classic and an amazing launch game. Wish we could get a reboot or better sequel. Bloodshot was quite a letdown for me, it didn't even feel like Condemned.
You would really have to play it to understand but it has an actual sense of urgency and terror. Also the fact that the game is going for the plausibility approach. The only issue I have right now is the inventory UI. I do also feel bandits should have some sort of repercussions for mass murdering tons of people, though I highly doubt that will change as it is kinda part of the atmosphere.
I must say after playing this alpha, I think DayZ is the much better game (which is also in alpha.)
I always thought of it as an illusion of looking through a window. The closer you are to the screen, the more you should see.
The default FOV is very narrow for playing on a larger TV, but on a computer the FOV needs to be turned up if you're feeling ill or getting headaches. There is a slider in the options but I personally had to go into the config files and increase it much larger.
It must be true, especially when their box-art mock up says "Metal Gear Solid: Hollywood Movie"

You're thinking of XCOM (2K Marin FPS Reboot), this game is a remake of the original X-COM with classic strategy style gameplay.
As much as I enjoy a lot of games with silent protagonists, I feel that this game could have gained from having a voice behind the character.
I wish the Crysis 3 multiplayer was more akin to the one available in the original Crysis and Warhead (Crysis Wars.)
