I will take my post from the Tech-Spy article.
This would be market suicide. The momentum behind the Xbox 360 is tremendous right now. Why stop a product that is continuing to sell countless numbers of units. I can guarantee we will not see an new Xbox at E3.
The switch between the Xbox 360 and the new Xbox would work much like the first round. The Xbox immediately died and game production on the system came to a halt.
In a business sense, it...
I agree with wesley-dw, for an open-world sandbox game it was hyper-polished.
The Call of Duty brand is gargantuan, no amount of good reviews will give Battlefield 3 the sales edge. It will take a large amount of iterations in the series to garner the success that Call of Duty has today.
This game hasn't even hit North American shores, chances are hardcore people that wanted this game already pirated it. The games realism adds quite the dynamic to the game, but it doesn't help when the game is completely un-polished. Based on what I've experienced from Dragon Rising, I can't see this game being any different. When I want my realistic military shooter I'll play ArmA II.
Fun fact, this character was actually designed by Hiroya Oku, the creator of Gantz.
It was bold of Miyamoto to take a different direction in the art style of the game. Doing so he created something unique and gave the serious it's a sense of charm much like A Link to the Past.
Many players do feel like Zelda should take a gritty-realistic step like most fantasy games these days. I feel Toon Link was the most unique thing introduced into Zelda in a long time. Don't get me wrong, Twilight Princess was a fantastic game but Wind Waker was much more origi...
When the Player was punching out the Terrorist who planted the bomb, and when the Player pulled the injured soldier back. Those were quick-time events as demoed.
The part where the Player is thrown the RPG to take out the suppressing sniper also wet down this rumor. These events really would not work in Co-op.
Saying that, it is possible we may see Players vs Bots much like in Battlefield 2 and the DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
I doubt this very much, the 12 minute trailer showed off some of the quick-times events that would only be possible in single-player. What would the other players do? Just sit there?
DICE is going to focus on heavily scripted events to make the as action packed if not more action packed than the Call of Duty series.
I see Microsoft buying Epic before I see Apple doing so. Yet, either is a long way off. Epic makes far too much income from Unreal Engine licensing.
I don't understand how, they would have to license characters from so many different franchises.
For a game where Nintendo let the company swap out textures and models, they really didn't take advantage of this.
We knew all these details for months, how is this news?
That's why I chose an over realistic number.
Number of those that are actually good, 1%.
Beyond fake. The writing is very unprofessional.
"Remember the look of the characters in Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children? Now the characters look the same."
"The supposedly best plot ever made for a video has been kept intact. No improvements have been carried out, as the original story was perfect for it's time."
Utter dribble.
Leon is not a STARS rookie, I can see this magazine is a big Resident Evil fan.
I agree, character design is garbage, also the invisibility thing is a little out of the RE universe.
Give me the Outbreaks, with XBox Live and PSN voice-chat.
Solution to his problem: get some friends.
This game is shockingly shallow. Campaign is just the multiplayer levels with bots.
