its common knowledge that burnout plays and looks best on PS3. Anyone see the update for the patch? fixes for long pauses on the 360 when streaming..etc. this site IS NOT using full range, and its damn obvious. Why even bother?

i do not have everyday shooter or any of the really old games.
i also got twisted metal 2 and the original warhawk from the store.
meanwhile ive only got about 12 for my PC this year(and i usually insist that im primarily a PC gamer). :\
if so, its considered too harsh to have people getting in wrecks. Thats violence. So instead, we get this weird ghost town where the cars have eaten all the people.

if i place my PC in a place where it gets hot enough to burn, guess what? it turns itself off LONG before it catches fire. And I'm pretty sure the PS3 with its internal power supply has heat warnings(thats where we get that video of the kid overheating his system to blow it out). Face it, the 360 is kinda like the pinto of consoles. A lot of people like(ed) them for whatever reason, but they're not too reliable and sometimes burst into flames.

Its MUCH easier to run a game in 480 than 1080. And sometimes i wish this whole "hd" thing didnt happen yet...i mean, nobody has problems seeing details on a dvd on a decent standard-def tv..so why is there a need? Now, i'm no fool and i know movies in HD look cleaner than movies in SD. But is the hardware ready to render things in HD? my opinion, no. Not yet. If games looked as nice as standard def DVDs than i would say, "now we need HD games". but since they do not, i do...

nah, he hasn't even tried programming. :) But on a more serious note, i have my degree and i know they don't teach much PS3 programming, if any. Most schools are taught by teachers...most teachers are too old to know how to program for the ps3. So everything is theoretical to them too. However, they have been programming on windows based machines for freaking ever...

as a primarily PC gamer i can honestly say without a doubt that those screens look worse than the PC version of UT3. I, am not impressed(and honestly, what can you expect from a low/mid gaming PC, the 360). However, if people like the game, then get the second. I swear to your mom that my PS3 does not have this "Vaseline effect". This is weird to me. I mean, if i turn off full range and everything and basically try to make the screen look bad, then yea, it looks bad, anything would. However, everything enabled with HDMI....dood the colors are unmatched. Motorstorm, heavenly sword, uncharted, ratchet and clank, warhawk, etc etc. look IN-FCKING-SANE with proper equipment. And if you havent experienced it, i feel kinda sorry for you.
