its twisted metal.
GT5P was a demo. For a demo it sold great. MGS isnt even out yet. The HD market is still pretty small as a whole, and the little bursts of growth have been sale driven. However, in that tiny market, blu-ray won. And this christmas, every retail outlet is going to be pushing people to go HD. And theres only one choice now... Hardware companies are going to compete to sell THEIR blu-ray player, and movie companies will drop prices for the hollidays to get people to buy all the new hits (iron ma...
if you count the still selling ps2 and psp, the playstation brand never really left the top. PS3 being all sony has to offer is a misleading illusion MS and Nintendo would like you to believe. There are still ~120,000,000 PS2's out there, and several million PSPs. The PS3 is just the up and comming champ.
good for you?
the people disagreeing with your comment are truly ignorant or work for rockstar.
like youve been a posting problem all along...
Rockstar is so insanely full of $h1t. If it was a hardware problem, it wouldn't be confined to their rushed game. They did something wrong. There's just no way 1 game proves your system is broken. If your system is actually to blame, the problems wouldn't start with one game, end of story. Rockstar making up BS lies to hide from the truth makes me respect them even less. The game is a lot of fun on my launch 60, but this kind of BS is inexcusable. Rockstar = cowards.
you are the only one on this page being douschy.
for me this worked fine. If you want to play single player, log out of the PSN before you load the game, then when you get into the game, select multiplayer and then the PSN will connect you. You shouldnt crash. Damn this game is full of issues. Not really a suprise though, every gta has been retarded buggy.
i hope this gets a patch soon.
of course the same movie looks the same on blu-ray and hd dvd...but what if the movie studio wants great sound? uh oh, HDDVD doesn't have enough storage space for longer movies with the best sound. that means consumer loses because MS went for fast and cheap with toshiba(again). The thing is, if you want to store data, do you prefer 25 being stuck gb or 25, 50, and beyond? And as for long lasting, its been proven that blu-rays are far higher in quality, and wont deteriorate as quickly as dvd ...
do you read what you write? I, and everyone I know use DVD's to back up personal files. Zip drives are a freaking joke, and you cant assume when you bring your zip disk over somewhere else, that the other guy has a drive. EVERYONE has a dvd player/reader. Now, some people have tons more information to back up, so they mirror their PC on another HDD. But that same person still backs up other things on DVD. Youve never made a home movie and gave it to a friend on a DVD? What about when you go t...
wtf...still? its not even up for debate anymore which is the superior format:
Blu-Ray
- more space
- better transfer rates
- scratch resistant
- long lasting
HD DVD
-cheap
hmmm let me think... I'm very happy the consumer won this time around. Lets face it, the reason for the decline is the US's idling economy and lack of new releases that demand high def(there hasn't been a pirates level movie in a while). Grow brains people, ...
Ariexv is right about something...halo 1 or 2 would not have sold 40 million on the ps2. Halo1/2 wouldn't be able to compete with all of the quality games already on the system. The xbox had absolutely nothing going for it until halo. Halo was a mediocre title on a system with a less than mediocre library. Meanwhile the PS2 boasts 1,000s of games that reach pretty much every audience. No game on the ps2 will ever have a high attach like GTA4, just because the systems are found everywhere. Som...
its 400% NOT 400x. This message is for all the tools on this thread.
that was supposed to be a joke. oh, and PCs have always been faster than macs, unless your a white supremist who thinks everything should be white, buy a PC.
what they did with crysis was make a bunch of DX10/9 tech demos and put them into a game. The game is a$$ in my opinion. not because it doesnt look amazing or isnt fun to play, but because it runs a lot worse than it looks.
am a pc gamer, so dont try to judge me as otherwise. But honestly, right now, with the ps3, there isnt a whole lot driving me to play PC... the only game right now thats worth my time is COD4. And yes, it looks far better on PC (was designed for PC first) but I have several friends from work who cant afford to run SLI and get a solid >60fps on the game to make it worth it. So they all have PS3's. So i also have the ps3 version to play with my friends. The point im trying to make(and i did ...
would look like a slideshow on 360. so, if you want to play GT5P on the 360, heres what you do:
1) download as many images from IGN as you can to your computer.
2) View them as a slide show from My Pictures.
3) hurray!
is looking to be really fun. I dont really care who the main character is or looks like, the concept is good.
