Rainbow Six Vegas 3.
I'm getting it for PS3, both look great!
Games with an intelligent plot, clever gameplay and well drawn characters that require at least some life experience to appreciate.
Also a violent game certainly isn't automatically mature. Postal 2 for example is one of the most childish and silly games ever.
I love how friendly staff is when you go in a shop in America, you always feel welcomed. I couldn't possibly be impolite to them.
Whereas in Europe many retailers make the "damn, another f****** customer" face when someone enters the shop and can't even be bothered to say hi. Or they act busy or chat with other staff members as a protection shield in case someone dares to demand a service or ask a question.
Those who know both cultures ...
7 is a great score for a game that is good, but not that special.
Remember, Edge's review system is not inflated like most other magazines.
Oh wow, did I miss something? Like a 2GB patch that fixes every bug and the save system?
As much as I'm a fan of RPGs I'm fine with it to be honest.
In my opinion ME1 was never good at being an RPG, ME2 was awesome at being an action adventure though. It seems to work better for this particular franchise.
I'm pretty sure they will avoid Blu-ray like the plague.
SD cards would be a possibility, if there's a way to put a secure copy protection on these things. Maybe unique keys that have to be registered online.
If Starfox and F-Zero come back, I'm sold. Those franchises have so much potential on current technology.
Well, let's see...considering Silent Hill 2 still costs a whopping €20, non-HD without trophies, ICO PS2 is out of print and therefore ridiculously overpriced on the used market...
The answer can only be yes.
If this game gets a 6, I don't even wanna know what kind of game they'd give a 1.
Then that's Nintendo's fault for not marketing it right. The trailer had "new gimmick" written all over it. How are people supposed to know that's it's potentially more powerful than what we currently have with a trailer like that?
Whenever Sony or Microsoft launch a new system, they showcase the technology, which, in my opinion, is the main point why people get a new system. So it should be in the forefront.
I'm still waiting for an official statement :(
Is there gonna be a patch that fixes the broken save system and framerate or what? If there is, AMY could turn into a decent game.
Great news for US 360 users.
As a European I don't really care though, UFC gives us all the events for free in HD :)
Looks crazy, this might turn into the best multiplayer game.
You can be the biggest follower of the genre and you'll still most likely realize that AMY's a poorly executed piece of garbage.
The fact that it's survival horror doesn't doesn't give a bad game a free pass amongst fans the genre.
I'm not really excited about the iPad controller. It won't add anything to gaming like the Wiimote did.
Also it wouldn't have hurt to make the Wii U technically more powerful than the PS3 and 360, they had the chance to be the first next gen system with a head start but screwed it up.
No way they could've done that, it would have required to completely turn around the concept from Silent Hill-like seriousness into a humorous game like DP.
Of course he can say that now. He already made like 50 million $ with Minecraft.
But besides that, why would anyone choose gaming as a hobby when he can't even afford a $20 game? If I wanna go snowboarding but can't afford it, I don't go steal a board in a shop either.
