Why people insist on demanding this feature, haven't they played the first 3 RE's? It's not like zombies can run or are shooting at you which would make it necessary.
If they allow this it should drastically decrease the accuracy to make it realistic and not too easy.

Gamer's have ruined the franchise by giving RE5 the most sales, not Capcom.
Considering how many freaking maps and game modes are gonna be in Twisted Metal PS3, it's totally understandable that they put it in.

Just a speculation based on the trailer; it looks like it's divided in two parts:
1. A scary, survival horror Leon part in a town reminiscent to Racoon City with oldschool, virus infected zombies.
2. An over the top action part with Chris.
That could be a win-win situation for fans of both gameplay types. Maybe you can even choose the story at the beginning like in RE2.
OP: Racoon City is just a spinoff made by the guys who did Socom: Confrontation for the PS3 (Metascore 63 btw).
It's a squad based shooter. I think it has nothing to do with Resident Evil, just the name slapped on it to get more recognition.
Right off the bat the Vita is getting a lot of support from publishers.
