dynamic maps are just some switches that change the layout based on user interaction, thus a scripted event triggered in mp games (maybe even some dynamic physics while it happens).

sub division is tesselation btw (kinda) they only have a new approach by sub dividing dynamicly based on the distance without using tesselation textures (wich isnt new either btw).
what shockes me most is "high res textures".
just bumping texture resolution only means you flood the new available ram, but you didnt evolve on your render technology.
procedual textures and material properties paired with a physically correct linear (2.2 gamme) ...
did they really try to sell sub-division surfaces, subsurface scatter and selfshadowing as a new technological advancement ??
