I think it would be in Double Fine's best interest to put out the best version of the game that they possibly could, even if it's not on the console that keeps the lights on.
I never really have this problem personally. I start a game and finish it. Then either delete it right away if I know I won't play it again or delete it if I ever need room for something else.
I get that people like to have a few games on the go and I see the benefit of having all your games at the press of a button but there is really so much out there to play that going back to games is a rare thing for me.
How many games do people run on average a...
It is a complicated issue. I don't think anyone deserves to be sent death threats or have their kids followed around and be threatened.
There are some things that should simply be unacceptable.
While I can agree with the sticks and stones phrase to a degree, I would say mental health awareness has grown since the 90s and in a lot of cases it's the people that are making these threats that need this type of help.
I like that train of thought. What if instead of making something rare, we just make it so you can't get it at all until you find someone who has a similar game.
What if we made people trade their one of a kind Pokémon and then they have to play through the game again to get another one.
Brilliant!
Solving simple problems with obtuse methods has always been the Nintendo way.
Yeah, my game crashed at that same point as well.
You're really hung up on this early adopters thing.
I can't wrap my head around why this bothers you so much. When a game goes on sale, are the early adopters being taken advantage of? When a game goes on sale, are the early adopters being slapped in the face? After a price of the game gets reduced to $40, are early adopters crying about it?
Early adopters pay the highest price to get the lowest quality of that particular product.

The only misstep was writing this article in my opinion.
Let's just wait and see what they deliver.
IT sounds like you're basing your entire opinion of the studio on one person that works there.
Sure thing, let's jump into it.
There are a lot of big picture things we can discuss here, let's just focus on one of them. Vocal minority.
I've been on this site for a long time now. I think one thing to keep in mind is that what you're seeing is a vocal minority. What you're doing here is making a mistake and grouping everyone you don't agree with as Sony fanboy which they might be but you're also discrediting everyone who just simply...
Perhaps it's time you take a step back and take a deep breath. Perhaps avoid PS articles? Sounds like you need help.
They seem to really push the fighting game narrative. I'm surprised we haven't seen them invest in a fighting game studio and built a franchise already.
Playstation All-Stars had some flaws but I really enjoyed it while I was playing it.
So the moral of the story is not to try new things? I thought we wanted developers to explore and try new things instead of constantly pumping out sequels. While it is unfortunate that these didn't pan out, I'm glad they are trying something new instead of yet another Final Fantasy game.
Good luck trying to ban Hearthstone and Magic. Card games have had "loot boxes" for who knows how long. I would take loot boxes over ads any time of the day. People that are happy about this proposed change show their ignorance in full force.
So I don't think it has much to do with East and West, it really comes down to the developers. In your example you mentioned Kingdom Hearts 3 but Square Enix's record is actually quite abysmal right now. Left Alive and The Quiet Man were just terrible. Tomb Raider and Just Cause 4 didn't do all too well either.
Let's look at development teams though. Teams like Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Sony Santa Monica, CyberConnnect2, Arcsys, Yakuza team, Sup...
I really don't get why everyone is so hung up on the whole Assassin's Creed thing.
Last 5 Assassin's Creed games have had a singe main character and it's going to stay like that for their upcoming game.
They clearly explained why the co-op has all the male characters. It's because everyone is playing as the main character and they just swap the face so you can still show off your gear.
Even if you wanted your character to look like a gir...
Next thing you know is that IGN, GameSpot, Giants Bomb etc. will have to pay companies to show off their games.
You want a preview of our game? We'll take half the money you earn. What's that, a review you said, how about three quarters of the revenue our way.
There are some games that are very story dependent where I can see people not wanting to play it, but it doesn't seem like they want to play it in first place, just see the story. Which th...
This was explained pretty well on one of the GameSpot's E3 interviews. If you play co-op, everyone plays with the main character but they will change the face of the other 3 players on your screen. So unless people are asking them for create a male and female main characters I don't really know what they want them to do. MP will have female characters as it always does.
I don't see why people are complaining. Why weren't there complaints for the previous game...
It's not about who's got more games it comes down to which games you like more. On a lot of lists I see the dancing games that most people won't even look at twice.
Number tells us nothing, it's about what games you like better. That comes down to personal choice so there's no clear winner, both companies had a great show. Sony might have had a bit of a slow period but they also have a longer press conference so they really show the same amount of games.
It looks interesting, don't like the trail on the character though. Will only play it if it shows up on PS4 though so I guess it doesn't really matter.
I never said there was a problem. Why so defensive?
I just said it is in their best interest to make the best product possible for both sides. PS4 game running on PS5 hardware is not the best they can do, I think we can both agree to that. What I'm saying is that they don't want any version of the game to make them look bad.
I'm sure all versions of the game are going to be just fine. I doubt this is a decision Double Fine made either way.
