Great, nice to have some closure on this.
Seems like another non-issue blown out of proportions.
Wait.. are you telling me they don't have people knocking your doors down and forcing you to buy optional perks and skins as they threaten your family member's lives?
I read the article but I'm not quite sure what the overall message was...
Stop thinking of Xbox as a console and start thinking of it as a service?
That's great and all but when do they patch it to run at smooth 30 FPS? I think I would rather prefer that over ray-tracing...
If you think Nintendo, Microsoft, Epic and Steam aren't taking a cut from microtransaction, I don't know what to tell you. Not even going to bother with the rest, trying to reason with a person like you isn't going to happen.
How about we focus on Playstation and keep Xbox out of it? I don't think anything good ever comes from tearing down the opposing company. After everyone takes their cheap stab we are all just left with a bad taste in our mouth from both sides.
Nobody ever wins these arguments. At the very least, leave it for a relevant article.
I honestly don't even know what you're talking about when it comes to most of the things you mention.
Paid updates? Most PS4 games have had free PS5 patch that let the game take advantage of the PS4 hardware. Days Gone, God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima etc. These updates were free of charge.
The only thing they have charged for is the additional work that went into incorporating Dualsense and other PS5 features. Is it worth $10? For some people it is...
The only thing not adding up for me is if they are happy with these guys, why did they close the Liverpool studio in the first place? Unless they all already left the studio.
The second question in that case is if the big guys left Liverpool by that point, what changed that they wanted to come back into the fold?
Glad to see that this game is doing well. Tales games have always been somewhat niche compared to the other big RPG games out there so it's nice to see they put in the work to remain relevant.
It's hard to argue that Sony hasn't been consistently delivering quality games. They seemed to have found their rhythm.
Didn't see this one coming. Waiting patiently on PSVR2 for the time being.
Is that your wishlist? I can't tell if you're trolling or just out of touch.
The hype around this event is ridiculous, so much pressure on them to put on a good show. It feels like people are more excited for this than all of Gamescom.
Just dropped by to troll or you actually have something to discuss?
The game isn't even out yet, they also don't rule out the possibility.
This isn't the movie industry where they sometimes plan out the movies in advance.
The case is not made out of steel because the disc needs heavy protection, it is mainly there for display purposes.
Personally I would prefer a nice art print instead.
I'm pretty happy with Sony right now.
I've bought plenty of collector's editions and not a single one of those was because of a physical disc.
This is yet another non-issue that people are blowing way out of proportion.
That's a huge logical leap to go from preferring the digital version of game to hating everything physical and considering it "junk".
What is it about ray-tracing that makes or breaks a game for people? I don't think I will ever understand.
