The point is that it is no more cruel then a lot of other jokes made at others expense by the same people. Cartman tried to start having "the cleansing" while imitating Hitler in "The passion of the Jew" episode and yet this, one persons dead mother, is "the one joke they are taking too far."
You need to recheck your priorities in life if you think this one joke is taken too far compared to lots of the other jokes they make.
If the last decade has taught me anything it is that you can be offended by anything and for anyone else and that when offended everyone must stop and listen to your feelings, create a safe place for you, and never ever make fun of you.
Oh and also that its not offensive if you are not in a protected class minority.
So when Kenya releases the game and I dont like it and say its a steaming pile of garbage is the fact that its "About Kenyas Mommy" supposed to mean its off limits?
Hes releasing it publicly, its now up for public scrutiny and South Park is mocking it. It is what they have done and always will do and unless you back others who complain about what they find "subjectively" offensive than you are just being "subjectively" hypocritical.
If you arent willing to stand for all the other offensive material the show puts out why should anyone stand with you on this?
This is personal to you so now its an issue. You are the worst type of person. You didnt just realize the show was offensive but now you draw the line.
If you wanted even a shred of credibility you could have even said "Now I see how the show can offend others where I didn't see it before and It was wrong then and it is w...
@Eamon
Yes there is, they are all criminals.
If I cant afford it, I can steal it? NICE!!!
This would be where I would agree with people who call gamers entitled. I like how you think you are entitled to something even if you cant afford it.
And yet MC probably sold more (is still selling) than 25 other games only released on their console since its a cross platform first party title now, the team was ready to go, it started generating income day one, and MS can and does still have other games in development.
I know its VG charts numbers but stay with me... MS Game Studios has 23 games published on X One right now selling 35.75 million copies world wide since release. MC alone sold 22 million in a 9 month perio...
So a game that had been out and selling for over 5+ years, was averaging 53,000 copies A DAY in 2016 (source 1) and SOLD through 22 million copies in 9 months (source 2) is the second best selling game of all time (behind Tetris) and has merchandise deals (clothes, plush toys, cups) + Realms (Monthly Subscriptions, will become even more popular as cross play takes off even more) + DLC + other licensed games (Telltales Minecraft:Story Mode) + Lego sets and they couldn't possibly be making ...
What people? Who are you trying to protect?
The complaint is that EPIC and Blue Hole work together with the UE4 tech and EPIC keeps using the PUBG name to talk about their game. Less so on Genre more so on, why are you using our name to talk about your game and BTW did you use any of our collaborated work with your engine to make a competing product?
Agreed to a certain extent, I agree you cant own a genre or play type.
On the other hand EPIC is licensing out the tech for PUBG so they have a business relationship, and EPIC keeps referencing PUBG to explain the game. These are things that are definitely in the grey zone when it comes to business practices. If I am working closely with a licensee because my game has made tons of money and I am paying for extra support and development (Which I do have business experience ...
"Dramatically under produced"
FTFY Reggie.
So was chip supply low or did they over deliver?
The sad part is even the devs dont play it anymore.
Right, because no one can not like what a streamer does and ALSO not like how a developer responds. That is impossible! No one is allowed to think they are both wrong in their actions.
But nice way to generalize anyone who disagrees with how developers acted as racist supporters.
Wouldn't that just lead to harassment off of steam? I'm no fan of keyboard tolls and warriors and do believe it is a problem but to me that's inviting people who don't agree with you or trolls to start finding other areas of your life they can try to find and disrupt.
I think another solution (if this already exists great) would be to only allow people who bought the game through steam to leave a steam review.
@Tiqila
Went to name calling rather than answering his question. So you would rather leave him ignorant rather than try to educate? You took the time to reply and hurl insults but can't be bothered to add to the discussion... You are the problem with society today. Too many people name calling at others trying to have discussions.
The hyperbole in your articles are nothing short of "toxicity and harassment."
You also call the consumers ignorant and want Valve to stop the problem. Putting zero personal responsibility on the consumer and blaming Valve for not solving the issue.
All I hear from articles like this are "Only I am allowed to use a system to protest what I dont like (even though it had nothing to do with my game), how dare others find ways to use a system t...
This mode is being tested by people, why didn't you just find one and interview them and ask them questions about it?
Or just wait 5 more days?
The amount of garbage content coming from gaming sites is getting overwhelming. This article doesn't even answer the question it asks and since its an opinion I would expect it to at least answer based on the information at hand.
Its like people are just writing ANYTHING for content. Try...
"she didnt have to be brown"
I think that was intentional based on the trailer for the game in which only brown people are shown. I would bet the only reason he is pictured as green is because in the episode Kanye was wearing a green outfit and that same necklace. The people dressed up as a green fish in the episode to make fun of him in a scene at his show.
