Depends on whos definition of affordable you are using. I can afford to pay $60 a game where maybe you cant... not to mention its a supply and demand issue. If no one is buying the game at $60 they will lower the price. Selling 10 copies at $45 beats selling zero at $60... simple economics.
And to those who may disagree why would anything go on sale if that were not the case? Including the consoles themselves. even Sony has stayed the course and not lowered the price of its ...
You mean like what happened to all those NES games and Sega games and SNES games... i play them on my phone because they were all ripped so now even if the cartridge goes bad i still have that game theoretically for ever. As apposed to if the game was never made digital imagine what would most people do when the cartridges finaly start breaking down and showing thier age. So no i cant imagine if EA or Ubisoft shut down thier servers that no one will ever play that game again because it was di...
Retail wont go away, there will always be a market for retail in some small way. You can still buy a CD and a DVD at retail but I would pay money that more of that media is sold digital now than ever.
Not everyone sells their games, proof of concept is already out with the PC market. How many games are sold digitally on the PC's? There is a huge market for digital distribution.
"Remotes are hardly comparative."
This wasn't said...
I love how old most of you sound. Like you go home and sit by your vynal records and watch your VHS or beta tapes for the memories... screw the fact that its infinitely more convienent to have every song i have ever owned on my phone and every movie i have ever owned on a HTPC so i dont have to get up to put it in or change it out. Call it lazy but i bet you all use a remote to change your tv channels instead of getting up and walking to the television.
Hence why they are trying to move towards streaming games instead of downloading them like we do with movies and music.
Not to mention that is also why i said things are getting faster. It used to take me 15 to 20 minutes to download a song off Napster... i now have a download speed that can download gigs of data in that time from steam.
I dont see game size moving faster than our effort to push speed across a network to the point where speed would inhibit ao...
Evolution of many industries... Music did it, movies did it, games are sure to follow as data starts moving faster for cheaper across a network.
There are a lot of games i have played over the years with fun time sink minigames. Final Fantasy IX has a great game. Final Fantasy X had that aqua ball game. Fallout NV even had a pretty good game which is where i got a lot of money for ammo :)
Gwent was fun and is a great change of pace but its nothing mind blowing in the pverall rwalm of minigames.
Its not forced. You are under no obligation to update. In fact everything will be as it is now for you if you dont. See how that works NOTHING has changed its just another option.
Keep telling yourself that you were ripped off. if anything it could boost the sales of them. And then she would be lucky if the sleezy lawyers at microsoft dont sue her :)
I would actually love for this to go to a recorded court session (minus the fact taxes would pay for it) just to read the transcripts of how she would try to defend her claims. And microsoft steamrolling those claims probably by bringing in evidence of another piece of art that it was actually taken from. ...
Maybe because a controller is built for function of gaming... how exactly would a share button allow you to game better?
I mean really look at a remote for your tv... do you even use half the buttons on it? Count how many buttons you have probably never pressed but by accident. I dont want that to be the future of a gaming controller with tons of small buttons that do specialized crap that only benefits a small number of people too lazy to hit 3 extra buttons.
I dont think i will ever be wealthy enough to want to spend 50k on a basement designed after a videogame... But then again my house is only worth 4x that and it doesnt have a basement :)
But thats more because im a person of function over appeal. I like the stuff i have to work for my needs more so than look pretty. My computer desk is a folding table. Why? Because its large enough for my pc and monitors and works without spending hundreds on a wooden desk.
Really? Hackers... please tell me how you plan on hunting these people down as a hacker without the federal government help in infiltrating private businesses lines of communication? Its not like the file was directly downloaded from the phishers home computer. Usually even the email thats spammed is a server that was hacked. We had a virtual server get hacked and the spammers where trying to send 100k emails a minute out of our server. Luckily it was an outside the dmz web server so no harm ...
I work in an IT department where we have been hit by ransomware more times than i would like to admit. (Special note back up your files)
It usually encrypts all document type files... word pdf excel pictures and music and movies.... anything that its programmed for really but mostly things that if you lost it you couldnt work anymore. Things that are semi irriplaceable like the pictures of your grand kids, or your trip to Africa, a report or financial assets sheet.

Money Money Money... Money.
Its a sick twisted world out there.
You mean the forum full of pretentious know it all wannabe developers who are lucky if they can code tic tac toe while enjoying the smell of theittheir own flatulence, and driving around in their prius... Thanks.
On a more seriouse note... nevermind i cant even bring myself to say anything nice about apple. The only thing apple is good for is pie and hard cider.
Apple aside there are some great developers working on apple software.
I havent played a game on a mac since hoover... no i take that back i installed wolfenstien 3d on all the library pcs at my middle school... that was the last game i played on a mac.
Popular != Quality
The game can be as popular as Justin Beeber and the Kardashians combined... but its just as shallow aswell.
Ratings versus the market... i will always trust the market. You cant say the market hasnt spoken he proved it.
So by "Abuse" you mean working as intended.
Its not the voice acting its the narration of every move she made. She talks to herself a lot.
Looked pretty though. But that story... not my cup of tea. Beautiful art though.
