Red ring of death says hello
This list would have been better to read in a chart format. Just seems like they used paragraphs in order to justify them making a full post about it.
@Mr Pumblechook
Not going to agree or disagree with your comment but why is it being made about this post? Last I checked Sony doesn't own Gearbox so....how does this decision have anything to do with Sony?
@Yournamehere
I like how you call a blog post an article. Like any of these so called journalists actually went to journalism school
Damn, Windows 10 is only a 20 gigabyte installation. Even after drivers and what not you are still looking at 60 to 100gb total. 200gb off the bat, before system updates, is ridiculous.
Thanks for that. I read the article anyway and the whole point was just to reveal the file size. Not worth a read
Money. 🦀
@Nordis, if people can't afford the $70 game then maybe they shouldn't be buying the $500 console.
At least there are more manufacturers for the PS5 SSD's since it is not proprietary. Prices should go down a lot faster due to competition.
I am sure people said the same thing about the Vita and their memory card. Look what happened to the Vita
PS Vita memory cards all over again. Sony learned thought Microsoft would as well
How about implementing a few captchas in order to complete a purchase and limiting purchase amounts per transaction?
Simple implementations that could avoid this embarrassment but a multi billion dollar corporation can not figure this out. Mind boggling.
Xbox Fanboys are just mad because Microsoft got shitted on for the same thing and Sony doesn't. They don't really care if the games are coming to this generation or the previous one they only want equality in reactions from the masses. They will complain until they get it

They also went months without mentioning a price or release date either. Also it's not like they wait until after people already have their PS5 and announce these games are also coming to PS4 as well. People will decide with their wallet and they can always cancel their pre-order if this is an issue for them but I doubt that will happen
@Shaggy2304
Those are also titles developed by Sony owned studios. Who is to say that they didn't develop PS4 and PS5 versions? Could other solely owned studios and indie developers do the same or just shoot for the lowest common denominator to save money?
This is a retailer problem. Retailers should make it so people can only purchase 1 of a high demand item per transaction/account and also have a checkout CAPTCHA. Makes it harder for scalpers to buy an entire inventory
I was chosen but I already got a preorder from Walmart so...
I am not trying to plug here but the only reason why I got my preorder is because of the slickdeals app. Notified me on my phone and had my preorder within 5 minutes, all during a power outage due to the hurricane. Also, Walmart shot first.
I don't know why some people are screaming for ps1, 2, and 3 backwards support on the ps5. If it was that important they would have kept their original console to play those games on, like I did. Honestly, even though I have them, I haven't touched those games in 6+ years. Heck, I never even used the backwards capability of the fat ps3
@DJStotty
If the Series X focused on height instead of width it would be the same size as the PS5.
