Console gaming was never NOT about a premium experience either. When compared to PC, it's all about the ease of use and the comparable performance you get for an affordable price. And these upgrades are about satisfying the customer who doesn't want a PC, who doesn't want to leave their platform, but still wants an improvement. It is completely reasonable to want your games to look better and at the same time not want to get into PC gaming.
There is also nobod...
Never even though of the annoyance that would come with needing to take off the headset to check your phone.
This is kinda genius. The next step would be to get it to just overlay over whatever game you're playing if you hit pause or something. But, as first steps go, very positive.
Who is we? It turned as good as I thought it would, which is to say, not at all.
It was confirmed by Colin Moriarty's trusted sources. Where is the source for the pro reveal at e3.
No, it was a new red dead.
It's up to the devs to decide what they do with it. Prettier visuals or better frames or both.
Were people expecting Pro/Neo to alter gameplay somehow? It's just for prettier and/or smoother versions of the same games, how can you not know that?
Well, it is a game console first and foremost. Uncharted in 4k should be more appealing to gamers than a 4k blu ray.
I'm enjoying it a lot, the quick menu and in-game share menus are much much better, it's very easy to organise a party now. Plus being able to reply directly to people in communities and being able to add a cover image for your profile is nice too.
I also like the ability to see how many games your friends own, although most people in my friend list have that info kept private. I didn't really care about folders, the only things I wanted to put into a folder was...
LOL
RE7 says hi.
@Neonrider
"Rift is by far the most comfortable headset."
Simply false, by all accounts PSVR wins in the comfort department, nothing is resting on the bridge of your nose and the display slides in and out to accommodate users who wear glasses. The rift IS front heavy, it might not weigh much but it's weight is distributed to the front of your face which can lead to discomfort over time, PSVR has it's weight balanced on the top of your head f...
Yup, a new red dead reveal. I feel it.
I'm happy with what they've shown already, no need to ruin any surprises.
PS Now is a PS Platform, just a digital one, these games remains PS exclusive. Unless you can play it on PC without a PS Now subscription. This is the difference between Sony and MS.
I mean, just the PSVR games alone are enough to dwarf the competition.
Well that's what we've seen at this years E3. You may have noticed Sony got some flak online for the games they showed not having dates (clutching at straws if you ask me). Of course if they gave dates there's a chance they'd have to delay, so they have noticed this trend themselves and are now doing the smart thing.
A story driven game finding a better audience on Xbox? A game with no guns or muscled space men finding a better audience on Xbox?
Hahahahaha.
And then certain people can stop acting like 4k Blu Ray is the be all and end all for a console. I've never even seen a 4k Blu Ray movie on sale in any store I've been in. This crap can wait til PS5, when there is enough of a user base to warrant it.
