It's pretty cool for single player stuff but I wouldn't use it for something like BF1 online because the image quality isn't as sharp as my actual TVs display. But Until Dawn (the original) on a HUGE virtual screen? It's a good time.
It's not the tech, it's the idea, Rockstar can make their own version of the nemesis system. Wouldn't be crooked at all. I mean, how many games have mimicked Arkham Asylum's combat? Are they all crooked too?
It would probably work better in Red Dead than it did in SoM (and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way to SoM).
Sick of people complaining that this doesn't 'feel' like a RE game. It's called doing something new to prevent stagnation of your franchise. RE was in bad need of it after the failed abortion that was RE6. People are actually excited about this game BECAUSE of how much it has changed.
Release date please, this and RE7 have me hyped.
Same here, plus 4k TVs should be way more affordable by the time the PS5 launches.
I'd get it but I don't want to trade in my lovely MGSV PS4.
@joco
How is it able to do 60 on PC then?
Maybe Sony will see the positive response to The London Heist and have a proper sequel made.
I honestly think that's something you should only get if you have a few buds you can play with, can't imagine it'll be much fun doing it solo or with randomers.
Have any of these asymmetrical multiplayer games ever been good? Evolve kinda failed. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play as one of the dumb teens but I'm hopeful for this one.
That predator mode type thing the villain can do is pretty cool looking, some might say it's over powered but in the movies the killer always seems to be able to appear out of thin air so why not. Should lead to players being able to genuinely scare other players online.
I'd get the Pro if I had the money for a 4K TV, I know it offers benefits for 1080p TV users too but 4K is where it's at and of course HDR.
I think I will wait for the PS5, by then 4K TV's should be more affordable.
Yeah but I want RDR2.
"despite never touching a VR headset."
Stopped reading there.
I did think it was odd that I was on the German side and was a black guy, I'm sure there was some instance of that happening in real life but it was the first time I saw a black German soldier portrayed in any media.
Calls whites privileged but has a pepe avatar.
Mmmmm.
@Lon3wolf
My logic is saying that 4k blu ray playback is not the reason X1S is selling better than PS4 at the moment.
Bruh, he's saying the same thing as the headline, he's more sly about it in the full quote. He's still saying VR at the moment only has demos and experiments and that "it will take time" remark at the end means, when Xbox does it, then VR won't be demos and experiments.
Way to not be able to read spin.
"There's also the 4K blu-ray playback feature in the XB1 S (and Scorpio) model consumers seem to enjoy."
I love how this is being bandied about like it's some killer feature. A tiny % of consumers even own 4k TVs. I've never even seen a 4K Blu Ray on sale yet. When the PS5 hits, then it'll make sense to include a feature like that.
I'd love wireless too but right now I'd rather they focus on other stuff and leave wireless for last.
Also I can't see battery life lasting long on wireless the way things are now.
