Damn them all to hell!
CRank: 5Score: 32690

I'm spending most of my free time playing on my 3ds XL, lately.

Haven't been inclined to re-up my Xbox Live Gold subscription until yesterday.

The only reason I did was because I wanted to stream Game of Thrones from HBO_GO.

That, and I realized that Microsoft was holding my game saves hostage because they were being saved "in the cloud".

Awesome!

I must say, I'm not really looking forwa...

I'm not at all surprised at this news.

I remember reading somewhere late last year that Microsoft wanted to "take over our living rooms" by making the Next Xbox an integral part of our entire TV watching / game playing experience.

In other words, they already told us what they were planning on doing and now we all respond as if we're in shock. How dumb can we all be?

Even then, people were criticizing Microsoft for creati...

Sorry,I didn't mean to offend anyone.

I think it's OK if other people like this game.

I suppose I was felling a little "grumpy" when I woke up this morning, that's all.

I think that it's nice to see "all kinds" of games out there for everyone to enjoy.

It's great that gamers everywhere have so many choices as to the kinds of games as well as the systems that we have to play them on.

I hate games that don't use buttons to play them.

Most of the times, the controls are horrible.

This article seems like an advertisement to me.

Maybe I'm just being suspicious.

Sorry, but this game isn't for me.

If others like it, then that's fine, too.

I currently don't have any Sony gear in my house.

That's too bad, I really enjoyed Jak & Daxter from days gone by.

This series is at the top of my list of favorites of any that I have played in my lifetime.

Good stuff-- indeed!!!

I'm a die hard fan of Xbox 360-- got one upstairs in my office & another downstairs in the living room.

I'm also a fan of Nintendo's 3ds XL-- got one last week and can't seem to stop playing it. I "had" a WiiU Deluxe for less than a week before I got bored with it and sold it on Craigslist, just a month or so ago.

My point is this-- gamers are becoming more "fickle" when it comes to choosing their favorite systems. If...

Oh God-- first it was the "old people" (with the Wii) & now it is the "women" (with the Kinect)?!?!

I just might sit this next generation out, if this keeps up.

Microsoft better stop this foolishness with a quickness-- because it's seriously getting out of hand now.

^^^Agree 110% with this fellow.^^^

There just isn't enough concrete evidence of what either system will actually offer-- most of what we know is merely speculation-- there's no way to make an intelligent decision about which system to buy until both companies "put all their cards on the table".

As it sits now,the only logical decision would be to get both systems when they release,(or neither),and then the drama will be over.

It is common knowledge that Valve is / has been making their own SteamBox gaming machine.

Who knows, they might've already copywrited that name and want to avoid legal problems in the future?

It's a bummer that they are in conflict with other Steam supported console manufacturers, but from what I gathered a long time ago, Valve stated that they would bring their own branded machine to the market.

They also said they would provide s...

Hah.

What's wrong with me?

I got the N64 the day it released & loved my Gamecube, too- never got the hang of Wii & can't stand the WiiU.

Now, I'm totally turned off by just about everything Nintendo does.

It's sad really, I don't see how they are going to dig themselves out of this hole.

I think they relied too heavily on the gimicky Wii controller & the old people last time. ...

Craigslist is better.

You can see it in person & talk the price down rather than having to pay for and wait another 5 days for shipping.

Rarely does one have to pay "full price" on Craigslist if you're willing to ask for a discount.

Yeah.

Nintendo is in trouble.

I mostly blame the sub par hardware for this.

Of course a few more AAA games in the library wouldn't hurt, either. (No, I'm not talking about old "crusty" rehashed Wii games, either).

I bought a like-new used WiiU Deluxe model, with box, receipt, cables, 4 each of the fancy black Wiimotes, and 2 games off Craigslist for $300.

Within a week, I got bored with the...

Without a doubt, that's where we're eventually heading.

The only part we don't know for sure is the "when".

What's holding them back for now is that not everyone has access to high-speed Internet 24/7 and they don't want to limit sales.

I prefer to have physical copies of all my games, so that I can sell / trade them after I am finished playing them.

I also like to get rid of them as soon as poss...

Leave Tiny Tina alone.

She is a very interesting and memorable character from Borderlands 2 and part of what makes her unique is the way she talks.

She's fine just the way she is.

Not everyone can speak the Queen's English with great skill, me included.

Nope.

The choice is yours.

You want a Sony, then get a Sony.

You want a Microsoft, then get a Microsoft.

No hate from me at all.

Enjoy!

I agree with SynGamer on this one.

Console gamimg puts everyone on the same "level", whereas gamers playing on super-customizable PCs often have an advantage.

With consoles, game developers have a "least common denominator" that they know everyone has because of the built-in features / specs of a particular system to start out with so they can maximize the gaming experience from there.

If you want more / better / "ble...

I have faith that both consoles will be great.

I'm particularly fond of my Xbox 360 & the amount of achievements I have amassed, is "respectable" at best.

I have owned the PS3 in the past, but only one person I knew, also played games on that system-- that made online gaming very lonely for me, at times.

Ultimately, I will choose which ever system that my family & friends have adopted.

Or, more likely, I...

No shit, Sherlock. (Not pointed at the poster above me, just a feeling I have to the topic of the article in general).

It's getting close to the end of the Xbox 360's life cycle & customers want MORE.

I'm not saying that the Xbox 360 is completely "dead"-- yet-- but if the developers & the manufactures of modern video games / systems want a BIGGER slice of the pie, then they're going to have to offer us MORE for our money. <...
