In other words, the reality is that Xbox One has simply become the "Xbox None".
Loved Borderlands 1 & 2--played the hell out of both games.
Tiny Tina was my favorite character of the bunch.
By the time I stopped playing, all of my guys were way overpowered-- I really wanted Gearbox to raise the max levels so that the bad guys would get even stronger.
I was also disappointed that I only got to open the special loot chest one time and got a really weak gun after waiting until the end of my first run through just to op...
I was wondering if anyone cared about this anymore.
It's a bit pointless so far into the lifecycle of these two systems.
If you haven't decided which one to buy by now, maybe one should just stick with the Wii & Nintendo DS.
Came straight to the comments-- so no hits from me.
Mainly interested to see whether anyone still cared about Xbox 360 / PS3 comparisons, that's all.
I'd like to see a couple of comparisons between the Xbox One / PS4 just to see how the hardware stacked up-- unfortunately, this place will soon be flooded with these comparisons and that is going to be a big turn off to me.
Um-- I think you just did Canary-- hahahaha!!!
Fucking pussies!
I said it when they did the 180 on the DRM & I'm saying it once again.
Microsoft doesn't have a clear vision for the future of gaming.
I won't buy the XBOX One no matter what policy they reverse next.
The spineless bastards just cave in time & time again.
Still not gettong it no matter what they say next.
What in the hell? Is this the first time Microsoft had a "fire sale" such as this? I don't remember prices being this cheap on Xbox 360 games-- ever!
I sold both of my Xbox 360s & bought a PS3 and put the rest of the money down on a pre-order for a PS4 the day after they went on sale.
I mainly did it in order to retaliate against all of Microsoft's anti-gamer / anti-consumer policies that they have now pretty much reversed.

Interesting article but way too many ads.
I love the title of this book-- it's very clever, indeed!
"Xbox Ones are still available at the NSA Gift Shop, I think."
This was posted in the comments below the article-- I rather enjoyed this one.
Bubble up for Rhino for being AGREEABLE-- that's not something you see much of around here.
Both manufactures have great systems.
Both have advantages & disadvantages.
SMART PEOPLE would lay everything out an the table, weigh the options and then make an intelligent choice for THEMSELVES.
I pre-ordered a PS4 after selling both of my Xbox 360s as a way to counter all of the horrible policies Microsoft was implementin...
Sorry, I disagreed with you because I really, really don't like the Kinect spying on me 24/7, (even in the dark with the lights out).
But, I must agree--"Saying something to get the zombies attention" sounds pretty cool to me.
I know, it sounds like a very small detail-- but whispering to a single zombie, one of literally hundreds on the screen, a split second before being found, holding a huge board with 50 rusty nails sticking all the way th...
Yeah.
Traded both of my Xbox 360s for a PS3 & tossed the rest of the money down on a PS4 pre-order.
I must say that the downloading-- installing-- rechecking for updates-- downloading more updates-- and installing new updates sucks big time.
I can't tell you how many times I've been set back thinking I'd be happily playing a game only to be sitting in my chair falling asleep while waiting for all of these updates to be install...
There are better headsets than the Sony Pulse & Pulse Elite-- but they're going to cost a lot more and all of those other headsets require a lot of wires to mess with.
The Sonys simply can't be beat if you want to plug & play. Both sets actually sound pretty good-- butI prefer the cheaper Sony Pulse $99 over the Sony Pulse Elite because the rumble on the Elite sets had to be turned almost all the way off due to sounding like they were "blown"-- the ...
I enjoyed reading some of the reactions to this guy's experiences of owning a Ouya.
I never considered how entertaining it would be tossing $99 worth of pennies into the sea.
Heading to the bank now...
"The aging Wii console managed to outsell its successor during the three months, with 210,000 units and 3.67 million games sold."
Wow.
I bought a used Wii with a bunch of games and a coupe of complete controllers for $50 off of Craigslist a few weeks ago.
Let me tell you-- the thing looks like garbage on a large screen HDTV, I hate wagging my arms all around to play games, the WiiMote & Nunchuck are "clunky" as hell,and...
Yup.
The price must drop substantially if Nintendo wants to remain relevant this upcoming generation.
$250 is about the maximum I'd pay considering there just aren't many good games available after all of the time that has passed since the Wii U has been released.
Just finished Saints Row 3 with a platinum trophy last night-- I can't believe how much fun I had with that game-- it really was "over the top".
Downloaded & installed Battlefield 3 when it arrived on PS+-- haven't played that game at all since participating in the Beta way back when.
I can't decide whether to hop on board with that game or go back to Black OPs 2 to play online with my son who lives out of state.
I h...
Bubble for a very well thought out & logical post Agent-86.
Although none of us know how many units each company will have available in the near future, by all appearances, this is probably the way the first 1/2 to 3/4 of year of the next gen wars will play out.
What an interesting year this is going to be!
I can see it now.
The thing starts overheating and suddenly starts yelling to itself, "Xbox off. XBox Off. XBOX OFF!!!" right after calling the fire department, homeland security, NSA, the cops, my mother in law, and Dominoes Pizza.
If the thing wants to get that hot, I say, "Let it burn, Let It Burn!!!"-- hahahaha.
