That said I'm a huge Bayonetta fan and I'm glad someone cares enough to make the experience great for both systems. There's really no excuse for a crap port on either console. If that patch somehow helps with the frame rate, then those that only own a PS3 should go outta their way to get this game. It's great. Props to Sony for picking up Sega/Platinum's slack. Let this be a lesson to Sega and Platinum, Sony cares more about your product than you do. Hang your head fella's, you blew it.

I own both and I like these articles so I can decide for myself which version is gonna get my 60 bucks. I would've bought Bayonetta for PS3 if it wasn't for LoT. Bayonetta's awesome. Delivered with very little hype other than high scoring reviews from journalists and under appreciated by the masses. And yes it does send other action games back to the drawing board. I'm looking at you Ninja Gaiden. Halo has been and always will be, the most over hyped game ever. No other game gets such a media blitz for every subsequent game. When really, Halo is the Michael Bay version of 1st person shooters. I'm daring Halo Reach to impress me.

Bayonetta wins for me. As a comic book fan I enjoy Darksiders artwork more on paper than on the screen. But mostly the combat is the deciding factor here and Bayonetta has some really sick and inventive weapons. Iceskates?? Awesome. Darksiders is a good first try and the basis for a better sequel. Bayonetta is like great new girlfriend sex after the old lame screw that was DMC4. We're both running on 1080p 52" screens w/HDMI. The 360 does have ample screen tearing, its a bit distracting. How distracting? I own the PS3 version now. If you have both consoles go PS3. The game itself is very good, but not a must have. The combat is cool but it gets repetitive. I'd try it before you buy it. I stopped playing though, Bayonetta has got her hooks into me.
