If it plays anything like your writing it should be goty material. I'm still not gonna buy the game, but you are one hell of a salesman. MAG just isn't not my style, but I'm actually gonna take a look at it now. I need to see it in motion first. Bubbles for a well written and ( almost ) convincing post. Dammit. You make me feel like I'm missing out.
We don't REALLY want these games to tank ( or at least I don't ) and subsequently, people lose their jobs. It's kinda of "I told you so" type thing. The fact that some "gamers" ( as you put it ) want games to fail on the Wii is because they know that, let's just say for the sake of argument Mad World, would sell better on a different system. Because that systems audience would actually want/appreciate that game. And in the end, this want to have games fail at retail is goo...
But while I was playing it, I couldn't help thinking," ... I wish this was a least 720p." Anyone saying HD doesn't matter, probably doesn't own a HD tv. Or they are in fact casual gamers, so they don't care about that. And 720p is not that big of a tech leap to achieve. I'm not asking for PS3/360 graphics ( though that would be nice ) I just want Samus to look that much better. Metroid would probably benefit the most from an HD face lift too. Followed closely by Zelda.
Me too.
... or the Wii audience? Which apparently, if software sales are any indication, are a fickle bunch.
It seems a though we share the same secret. Although, I always want Zelda, Star Fox and Metroid to do well.
If I knew the release date, I'd be counting the days.
... until after Other M.
Ok, I can see where you'd say that. But my butt hurt behavior stems from my love for the company. They're the reason ( namely Super Mario NES ) I game today. I know that their business sense has them laughing all the way to the bank, which is good considering the GC hurt them last gen. I dunno... guess I just want Nintendo to step up a little/a lot more. 720p would be a nice change, because yes, I believe the Wii should have HD by now.
But, I did ( begrudgingly ) enjoy Sigma 2's online mode. Hope the combat holds up.
I can't believe how much I don't care about what you guys do anymore. Your console makes me sad, as well as the direction you've decided to take in. I waited 2 days out on the cold streets of LA for your machine and got into it with countless gamers defending the Wii, 'cause you sold me on a new way to play. Three, mostly, unimpressive years later your machine gets nothing but nasty looks of distain from me. Only 2 things keep it from trade-in status. Zelda and Other M. ( Galaxy 2 is not on m...
... for the PS3. But, if you have a 360, and you're a fan of utterly decimating your foes, Bayonetta delivers in spades. The only thing to be taken seriously in this game is the combat. Everything else is just filler. The music during the fight scenes does kinda suck, but custom soundtracks saves the day here. If that's a feature you've never used, now is the time to implement it. Oh yeah, I really don't know where the Sarah Palin comments keep coming from. That heifer wishes she looked like...
Well said.
... my 100% completion of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Bayonetta suggests otherwise. Beat that ya little whipper snappers.
I remain skeptical. I'm wondering how the initial rumor even got started. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony sent a couple of in house guys/girls to help them with out the ( apparently still difficult ) coding. Should've delayed the PS3 version. Now they look like shmucks.
*still laughing* +1 bubble for the chuckle
Revive?... What?... What is this Bizzaro World? Unfortunately ( for me anyways ) Halo has been alive and VERY well for quite some time. Who wrote this? Ah, it doesn't matter. I refuse to give'em the hit, even to find out.
1: Those who are down for something different
2: and those who can't see beyond the gaming landscape they've created for themselves
A "disservice?" Don't know about that one. I'm thinking a disservice to the gamer would be loading the game into my PS3 and having it somehow blow my tv up. That's not good service. It's just a different type of game that doesn't appeal to this guy. Who's doing a poor job of voicing his opinion, with the hidden agenda of getting more ...
And at the risk of sounding redundant, dammit!
Make me love you again. Tell me something I wanna hear. Beyond HD? Either Samus better stop by my house in her gun ship to whisk me away to an interstellar conflict ( where I'd be adorned with my own Chozo armor ) Or maybe something a little more feasible like, holograms? All I want from you, actually, is HD. So to say your going beyond HD means... you're still not gonna support HD are you? Hope whatever you got up your sleeve is something truly special with a headline like that. Sony's got 3...
