I kinda had my lip stuck out about the control scheme ( I really wanted nunchuck support ) but after seeing the game in motion, I am officially impressed.
The wait... oh God, the wait.
Well that sucks. *sigh* It's 12 AM and that's all the emotional energy and logistical thought process I can muster for this subject. Let's see if I don't wake up fighting mad about this in the morning. Boo and good night fellow gamers.
Oh yes you do. Sorry, but you guys suck as of late. Going back to your roots would most certainly be in your best interest. Killer Instinct you guys... come on. Let's go.
That right there, is seriously all I've been hoping for. Prayers answered. Now Blur and Split Second, you taking notes? All games should have this feature to begin with, especially racing games. Burnout comes to mind. If the 360 didn't already have this feature Burnout would've been returned quickly. Easily one of the worst game soundtracks ever.
Metroid Prime says yes to this peripheral and so do I. Sold!
But we've since moved on to the far deadlier and less disgusting harpoons. Used tampoons only seemed to gross the whales out.
Sorry my friend.
My roommate has the beta and it's basically MarioKart with real cars. Graphics are just a step above MIdnight Club LA. I found the game to be pretty fun. I'm interested to see how Split Second stacks up to this. I will agree with an earlier post that driving the best lines doesn't have much to do with winning, but then again, neither does MarioKart.
Edit: Holy crap! That was quick. Three minutes later and I gots me my code. Thanks Cat!
... I'm afraid it'll be over cooked. With two changing of the guards under this game's belt, I fear for it's quality. I still got my eye on it though. Here's hoping.
Now, with the requisite Rare praise outta the way, let's get a arcade perfect port of the original KI and my old school gaming soul will finally be at peace.
On the quick step guys. Chop chop.
Halo... that... well... I think am convinced that there is either an incalculable amount of money changing hands behind the scenes or there is some kind of mind control at work. Because, I have followed and have fallen victim to the Halo hype on every occasion. Except ODST and each time I'm left scratching my head trying to figure out what the bfd is. +1 bubble for civil conversation.
Edit: @Hakimy: Thanks my friend. Bubble up +1
Bayonetta is pretty awesome. ( At least the 360 version is ) Now while I don't think Bayonetta is in any way better than GoW I just think Bayonetta has the added benefit of being a new IP. Nobody's seen this chick before, she has no proven track record and she just came outta left field. Boom! And then you get all the "Holy crap! This game's amazing and blah blah blah..." Think about it, if GoW 1 and 2 never existed and this GoW just came out now, they'd have to create a new scoring...
... whatever, this doesn't upset nor deter me in the slightest. One man's opinion is all. I'm interested to see if his complaints will be my complaints. Or if I'll look right past them and enjoy the game. GoW is just one more must have, on an ever growing list of must have games. I will be there, because I'd be a fool not to and so would anyone else.
Hmmm indeed.
Now shed some dollars and we have a deal. $189.99 sounds about right.
Thanks for the level headed post. A rarity around this neck of the woods. +1 bubble.
I'm not a huge fan of Tomb Raider but some of their environmental puzzles are expertly designed and feel a lot like a Zelda dungeon. Since I like puzzle games like that, I'm in.
HR here I come. Oh yeah, thanks Sony.
Incredible timing. Right after you said it *poof* he magically appeared. Awesome stuff.
Even just Zelda and Metroid.
Seriously all the other exclusives coming this year are just gravy. Just keep drip feeding me Metroid and Zelda and I'm a happy guy.
