I agree with what you said about Microsoft and Sony releasing new tech, but the Wii U seems very casual to me.
Think about it, how many casuals own iPhones? How many own an iPad?

If we go back to the beginning of this generation, Sony released the PSP in 2005 and announced the PS3 in 2005 with a 2006 release.
They could follow through on the way they did it this generation or do something completely different.
Whichever decision they decide to go with will reflect what their analysts have learned this time around.

Spoiler - After the events of episode VI, when Luke Skywalker starts the new Jedi Order, they allow relationships and marriages due to a hidden one being a reason the Jedi fell.
In relation to the game, this hasn't happened yet, so relationships are against the order. It's just nice to know they eventually changed their stance on it.

Think of it this way. Almost EVERY video around the net has been uploaded to YouTube. The CIA has gone on record that they monitor YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. This may seem harmless but it can be a very bad thing.
