"We've got people up in here saying that Ryse is a good game with things like "everyone that has bought it is loving it". SMH.
You don't see PS fans saying Knack is an amazing game do you? These fans are doing everything they can to make an awful game seem amazing. And you can't even get away with saying Ryse is a fun game, because with shallow, clunky gameplay like that.. yeah...
I could go ahead...
@morganfell
I think you need glasses as this article also has Xbox One tagged. I don't agree with the CEO's opinion, but I'm not making any noise about it either.
Forgive me for being curious about what was said. These websites often turn context against developers into something that fuels the fanboy wars.
I scroll down the comment section and see you, once again, claiming everyone is just jealous about this game for stating an o...
Morganfell, you ever stop to think that your own actions have consequences? I'm asking you directly because you've been on about jealousy and a hate campaign for some time now.
Let me give you an example. For the past few months we've been seeing article after article, comment after comment, about how The Order 1886 is supposed to be this amazing Sony exclusive. Similar thing happened with Driveclub. You guys just act like you haven't been shoving this game do...
There are some really good ones in there.
Thank you Abriael for putting them all together like this.
Hmm.
Joined an hour ago to post this one and only comment, praises PS4, and refers to Xbox One as Xbone throughout the entire post.

"When people keep talking about DX12 getting the CPU to work with other cores and other nonsense, it doesn't work that way. DX12 will be used to develop software/games and the games will use the CPU/GPU within the parameters of it's specs."
I'd hardly call that nonsense. In fact, you seem to have little knowledge of what you're even talking about.
"Microsoft also discussed new CPU indexing algorithms ...
I had a lot of fun playing it but it's not perfect. The controls can take a while to get the hang of, but once air dash is unlocked later in the game, traversal opens up and things are much easier to chain.
I wouldn't mind if Insomniac focuses more on story in a sequel, but I still laughed and enjoyed how they embraced breaking the 4th wall.
Sunset Overdrive was my favorite game of 2014.
Start Halo Mcc and go to the Extras tab. There's an option for the Halo 5 beta download.
Multiplats? Yep, that's correct. Most PS4 versions have a higher resolution/frame rate than the Xbox counterparts.
As for exclusives, better is highly subjective. You'd be closer by saying more exclusives, you know, so you can count all the indies and bloat the list. ;)
Online? You still believe that? Even after the Christmas outage? Some of you seem to have memory problems or some kind of warped reality. Dualshockers does a good job of catering to th...
PSN was completely down for days and you guys are calling out Brisco for stating it? Even if he prefers Xbox, that still doesn't exclude what he said. Xbox Live went down but it was not down for days. XBL had some continual issues in the aftermath but its sure of a lot better than being COMPLETELY down.
Everyone keeps saying Microsoft did nothing even though the service was back up before PSN. I know you guys are spin artists, but come on.
I've seen i...
Sometimes I feel like some of you guys can't understand context..or don't want to.
But hey it's Greenburg, let's just automatically bash whatever he says.
"@Vyprstryke thank you, we are just getting started! :-)"
Someone from Microsoft can't even respond to positive feedback and thank someone without being labeled overconfident and then it's turned into a negative. If it was the other way around, you guys wou...
I highly doubt you're actually a Playstation fanboy.
You're allowed to have a preference but to go out of your way to try and make them look bad..
It's pretty immature.
Honestly, I feel like they finally got it right.
I'm not saying there isn't room for improvement but I think we expect too much from an awards show. That's due to the hype Keighley creates but also partly from our high expectations.
I would be fine if they kept the show close to this format in the future. It's a good balance. The world premieres/announcements are there as the icing to keep us interested in what's new and unknown, while ev...
Mods would have been great with RDR.
With GTA I usually buy first on console, play it for the core game/story, then I buy it later on PC when it's on sale and all the good mods are out.
Couldn't do that with RDR :/
Microsoft kept XBL servers up for the original Xbox until 2010, 5 years after the launch of 360. They supported an install base of 24m on their network for 5 years before the massive increase in XBL subscribers that 360 brought. This was all before the online multiplayer boom that PS3 and 360 introduced as standard.
With more than 3 times the install base of the original Xbox and the amount of XBL subscribers that exist today on 360, artificially causing problems for those us...
So every product that gives a promotional rebate should compensate day one buyers?
That's quite a ridiculous expectation.

That's not true. The site wasn't pro xbox. It used to have more vocal 360 fanboys, but they were never in the majority.
People like to confuse the bad media PS3 got from websites with actual commenters. Yes the PS3 received a ton of bad PR at release, but not from the majority of commenters here. This has always been a safe haven for Sony fans.
Back when open zone existed, Xbox articles were filled with Sony fanboys claiming the almighty power of the...
Jagex does something like this for Runescape updates. It's a good way to let fans help shape the future of the game.
I agree with all of your points, but I think it's also fair to say that games in the 80s/90s were not as complicated to make. We can do more and more every year, but at the same time, it requires us to use more advanced methods of implementation, which can often break easily.
On the flip side, DLC and patches have fundamentally changed the whole game development process. Developers have become far too comfy in these two things and a balance has yet to be found. Games are ...
