I'm wondering if they are saying 30% for Uncharted 1, if they mean they are using just 2 out of the 6 SPUs? Maybe for this one, they'll use all 6? But keep in mind that using 6 doesn't mean they are at 100% at all. I mean in KZ2, they are using all 6 SPUs but at a max of 60% or so.
That means there is a LOT of room to work with, and they will always also be able to streamline and optimize the code further to get more out of it yet. ;)
Man, that looks quite good. I can see some better lighting, even better texture work it seems, better DoF effects, and just more polish. This game could just be amazing.

When looking at the demand of a console, you got to ask yourself, would it be even close if the PS3 was priced as low as the 360 in Europe?
What people forget is that MS can afford to have such drastic and frequent PCs of late because they are dropping internal studios left and right, and because they make a total killing off of Live.

Smart, but shortsighted really. I mean how long will 256mb be enough? I think this pretty much confirms they will never follow the Home path with such a small amount of storage literally being wired into the unit. It's really a statement saying MS isn't going to go much further than what you see in the NXE. If Home really catches on, I think this could come back to haunt the 360. It also shows that they aren't planning on adding a hard drive to the Arcade any time soon. Not when they add this...

Good luck with that in other games. ;) Have fun bunny hopping in halo 3 and rolling in Gears 2 with 100 lbs of equipment like there isn't any on. This game has the movement down perfect. This isn't a game with Nerf physics and guns with no recoil. LOL
Sony could drop a bombshell with this game by releasing a demo of say God of War, GT5, or Uncharted 2 for those who buy KZ. All of those games are probably not going to be ready to demo, but you get my drift. MS has done that a bit. Maybe people who buy the game get an exclusive code for one of those games that will unlock something. They need to start doing what MS has done in the past.
18M PS3 is probably shipped, 7M 360s in Europe has got to be shipped. Considering there are new SKUs for the 360 in the form of so many bundles, surprise surprise, the stores got a load of new shipments. ;)
Wow, if you head to the source, 6 PS3 titles make it to the top 30 and none for the 360. Pretty good rebound for the PS3 the last 3 weeks now. Considering the high software sales, I wonder if the PS3 will hit 30k again for sales? I'd imagine White Knight could push PS3 sales to more like 40-50k. Not bad at all

This makes NO sense to announce so many unless they are just HD upgrades from the originals coming to XBLA or something. I mean who announces 4 titles in the works at once? They are either like what I said, or they are spreading themselves wayyyy too thin, and they are going to rush them out. Let's just hope they don't try to "innovate" in Killer Instinct and make you build vehicles to fly around to fight. LOL
That Gamespot preview was retarded. The guy basically said "nothing destructable or interactive BUT the audio was good". He put a "but" in there like the visuals were just so so with nothing going on. That guy should be fired. That was one of the most biased previews I've read so far. Especially when showing this stuff off that's being shown by people who are in the beta.
What? They said "there are certainly no physics-based money shots such as deformable scenery or movable objects"...

The PS3 didn't do well by any means, but LittleBigPlanet and R2 had nothing to do with it. Give me a break guys. LOL! Considering LittleBigPlanet got released so late, it actually sold really well, especially considering the install base. But it was released too late to...
It's good to hear someone explain it the way I've been for the last while. It's this amazing sick combination of amazing lighting, filters, motion blur, animations, particle effects, desctrutability that make this probably the most impressive console game to date. You can probably point at one game and say it can do 1 or 2 of those things. But nothing, and I mean nothing does so many of them this well at once. If this is the technical base that devs will work UP from for future games, I can't...
Too Human sold a fair amount on preorders, but I think when people:
a) Played the demo
b) Saw the full game
c) Read the reviews
No one bought it after that.
