i won't be finding out that's for sure. loved number 1, hated number 2 and so now the series for me ended at 1. i will not buy another no matter how good it is, plenty of other games to play

the real problem is video games are based on cheezy movie moments in the first place. so when you come full circle it usually doesn't end well.
when a modern TV cannot output 1080i at all period, it outputs 1080P. so yes it actually does equal 1080P
