Doom is MUCH faster than D2.
Art direction, visuals (ps4pro), music ans story are SO much better than D1. Story missions are some of the best fps campaign missions I have ever played. World is huge, planets are beautiful, intrrface is much more streamlined. This game is a classic!

Austin would be hilarious in gta. Actually all of Texas is pretty easy to make fun of. Dallas with its quasi-yuppy rednecks. San Antonio's mariachis and gorditas, also with rich mexican national influence and also huge military presence. Could also throw some college towns in like San Marcos or fucking baylor in Waco with the branch dividians. Big Bend aint quite the gemrand canyon but it would still make for cool alien shit with the Marfa lights. South Padre for the beach, and brow...

Here's the problem though weeblord, and it's one that has been completely swept under the rug lately. This is supposed to be a HOME CONSOLE as well, and it's priced as such. Nintendo has even stated that it is primarily a home console first lol! Had nintendo made the switch their next portable while developing a true dedicated home console that could actually handle these 3rd party games on par with even the base ps4, all would be peachy.

It's a FANTASTIC game, so if one doesnt own a ps4 or xbone, it should not be missed if they have a switch. However, the visual presentation and framerate are HUGE components of the game. Yes, some games run at 30fps on current gen consoles...whats your point? Doom's central gameplay mechanics are built around ultra fast fps dodge/shoot/dodge/shoot. This will be greatly hampered by the switch 30fps.

There are certain games where 60fps makes a big difference. Doom and Titanfall 2 are 2 examples.
Part of what makes Doom 2016 "Doom 2016" is the 60fps. Without it, it just pales in comparison. Portability does NOT make up for inferior ports for ME, so Ill get a switch for Mario, Metroid, Zelda etc...just like the last 2 Ninty consoles.
