If it only takes 3 shots to kill someone like in COD, I'm probably not going to get this. Fully automatic weapons shouldn't deal nearly as much damages as they do in COD, when in video games. It takes no skill.
I like Battlefield's health system -- usually 5-6 shots with fully automatic weapons to kill.
COD4's was pretty good too, but pushing the lower limit: 4 shots. I don't like it any lower than that, but MW2 took it down to 2 shots. That's just plai...
+Bubbles for well said.
Of course, virtually anything passes MW2 in quality.
COD4 was great, but MW2 sucked hard.
Get the PC version, much better.
Community-run dedicated servers almost never lag.
Same way with CoD4 on PC and BFBC2 on PC.
PC is in general a better system for gaming, and is cheaper in the long run, but costs more up front.
Actually, most devices come with a little pad that secures the disc in place to prevent this from happening. MS, however, being cheap, refuses to add this 25 cent little device in the console, therefore inferior hardware that destroys discs.
Try moving a PS3, PC, or DVD player around while there's a disc in motion in there. Will anything happen? Most likely not. Move the 360 around. Will anything happen? For sure.
What if you accidentally move it? Say you trip over one of your wired controllers that are plugged in?
Bam, there goes your $60 game. All because MS is extremely cheap, and refuses to pay 25 cents per console to fix this.

It would cost MS only 25 cents for each console to fix this problem, yet they refuse to do it, because they're being extremely cheap.
So HE'S the one responsible for .hack?
...that game series was AMAZING!
Rofloll. That last one isn't the slightest bit true.
Oh, and bet you didn't realize that Microsoft copied from Sony:
- Controller format (just Playstation's controller, except bulkier, with buttons shifted around slightly and renamed)
- Kinect from PS Eye/Eyetoy
- Backing-up data (except MS' version requires another $30+ purchase)
- Memory cards
But let's face it, both companies do some copying here and there. The pr...
Wow, make that THREE four-bubble people.
Just read my previous comments if you want to know what I think. xD
Wtf is going on, TWO four-bubble people in one article?
I don't believe it. I must wash my eyes.
America's patent system is fucked anyways, it's not like this patent will stop anything.
Holy crap, a four-bubble! I must eat your face! Om nom nom!
But seriously, Natal really isn't that much of an innovation, nor is the PS Move. They've both been done before -- Wii and PS Eye/Eyetoy.
Which really in the end only makes them get more money.
Absolutely not. Battle.net is just a cheapo attempt at taking over Steam. Steam is still far superior in every way. The only games Battle.net get are those by Blizzard.
I remember a quote from a Blizz rep saying that they're aiming for battle.net to become the "social network for gaming". Again, sorry, but Steam kicks your ass pretty hard at that.
Really, all Battle.net ends up equating to in the end is more money for Activision/Blizzard. It...
This site seems to have forgotten the ridiculous PAIN trophies... That game wasn't good anyways.
I'm lol'ing inside at the people who call this guy a PS3 fanboy. C'mon, he has Halo on the list!
Killzone 2 definitely deserves to be there, but Bioshock shouldn't be there at all. Bioshock isn't really a first person shooter, it's more of an RPG than anything, but whatever. Bioshock is still a great game, of course.
But where the hell were Counter-Strike: Source and Half-Life? And the PC versions of Unreal Tournament, Halo: CE, and Quake are f...
It certainly would have been better if the PS3 had more RAM and the Blu-ray drive hadn't been locked...
But it was still great to have, because, for example, you could play whatever video format you needed, rather than just the ones supported by the PS3.
That's due to the fact that the page is being translated by Google Translate before being served to you, so it's bound to go much slower.
Oh, and I'm German. Thanks for the insult, MiamiACR.
Hmm, I disagree about the online. The online is the most broken, noob-friendly, irritating, stress-inducing, infuriating POS I have ever played, IMO.
COD4's online was great, though. And WaW's wasn't bad. Best in the series so far = COD4 for sure.
The story mode, however, was pretty damn good IMO, though it was extremely short, and besides the serious plot holes everywhere.
I could never adapt to America's prudishness, as most of what Americans deem "inappropriate" include nudity or "bad" language. Anywhere else in the world (except extremist nations like Saudi Arabia), neither of these things are seen as bad things. Violence, however is cracked down upon more so than in America.
I strongly dislike the fact that so many of these companies are American. They basically impose their restrictions on us Europeans, and think no...
Probably only banned in America. Those silly, prudish Americans.
