You know, Microsoft is touting IE9 as the second coming, saying it's going to be fully standards-compatible and compliant. I call BS. Microsoft has never managed to make IE standards compliant. Web developers like me have had to write extra code for IE for years. And what's even worse is the web developers who give up on the other browsers all together and code specifically for IE. IE needs to die.
The layout has only changed two or three times in the past two years.
Like Rob above me said, WaW and COD4 were both great games.
MW2, on the other hand... ugh.
You're arguing with the wrong person... You do know who HSx9 is, right? I'll give you a hint: NGU. That is, if he is the real deal.
IDK, isn't it possible that that was a setting set on the map?
Hacks on the PS3 aren't really hacks most of the time, just holes in the game that were left there by the developers unintentionally. For example, in COD4, with the UFO mode, it was a simple savegame edit to set your control scheme to the UFO mode. However, yes, there are just as many cheaters(turbo/modded controllers, for example) on the PS3 as there are on the 360.
Microsoft usually bans your console, but yeah, that is actually able to be bypassed with a JTAG.
@pimpmaster
That whole COD4 UFO hack shenanigans was just plain silly. It got silently patched on the server-side, and it actually was possible to do on the 360, just much harder due to the fact that at the time, the 360 required a transfer cable to get game saves on your PC. Other than that hack, there were none others, so how can the PS3 be full of cheaters?
@gamingdroid
Yeah, they have a policy enforcing system (they just implemented a message report featur...
Well, gee, apparently Russians don't have security cameras. And apparently, the same Russians that rescued Soap and gang decided that Captain Price was a criminal and through him into prison, even though he was a good guy with Soap. Or when Captain Price launches the nuke -- seriously? Launching a nuke is a much more complicated process than just two keys being turned at the same time. Sheppard seems to have changed branches of the armed forces, considering in MW he was a general of the a...
"A good graphics card can alone cost more than a console."
Lolwut? Nowadays, you can get a decent graphics card for $70 that can run Crysis on Medium-High settings.
You seem to have left out something that someone above me mentioned. PS3 + PC = Best of both worlds. You get just about everything, save for the very few exclusives that the 360 still has.
Actually, the Dualshock 2 was a great, durable controller. The Dualshock 3, however, seems to have been made of cheaper materials in order to cut down on cost because of all of its bells and whistles. I've gone through 3 Dualshock 3 controllers, but my original Dualshock 2 still works fine.
The Dualshock 3 is a great controller, but the plastic it is made up of and the way it is held together isn't very good, unlike the Dualshock 2's.
Actually, even selling games to people under 17 isn't illegal either. That's just GameStop/etc's policy.
I don't think I have. Any suggestions?
The US version of this game is going to get heavily censored, I bet.
Silly, silly Americans. :P
If it had the same architecture, it wouldn't need to have software emulation. It wouldn't even need emulation, if they use a similar format and tools for their SDK.
Actually, it's fairly likely that the PS4 will be fully backwards compatible with the PS3, because if the rumours are true, the PS4 will have a similar architecture, with the cell processor, just a better version of it.
You mean, "Ich liebe Deutschland!"
