This + Flower + Noby Noby Boy = too much many spent at the PSN.
Stereotypical Kotaku fanboyism. Love how Banjo can under perform as well, but that's not an issue, despite 360 fanboys pushing it as a response to LBP.
Better late than never... that game freezing glitch really prevented me from picking it up, but maybe now I will.
I think Atari is only doing this as a last ditch effort to make up some of their losses this year(mainly from Alone in the Dark).
Still, its these decisions made in desperate times that end up benefiting the gamer the most. The Witcher was a great PC game, hopefully it translates well to consoles.
Hypothetically speaking, you could eventually have textures that take up 9+GB of space, which then COULDN'T be done without compression no matter how many DVDs you have... But again, that's hypothetically, and won't even come into play with PS3 VS 360.
Where do I send it to?
Don't get me wrong, I'm pumped for WarDevil(this is the second article I've posted up to N4G about WarDevil in the last 4-5 months). But it bothers me that they would rather sue the guy than just prove him wrong by showing new footage. I'd show the footage first, THEN sue his ass ;)
Wow, that was quick as hell... This is one thing I like about Japanese developers, they usually don't announce stuff years in advance. Demon's Soul, Ninja Blade, and Yakuza 3 were all announced in like October and they are all due out in January/February.
Plus Demon's Soul is also due out in February in Japan as well.
I could believe it was in-game if it wasn't for the water. No game has done in-game water effects close to that.
Eat Sleep Play(the studio Jaffe founded after leaving Sony) has indicated that they were interesting in working with Sony on GOW3. Nonetheless, this game will not be GOW3 as Sony does own the IP and he says its a 'new' game.
It's gonna sell much better in the US. I see the damn commercial every 2 seconds, and the commercial is pretty damn slick(both the footage and the music).
I'm guessing like 400K units on the 360 and 250K on the PS3. Definitely combined over half a mil.
This game is a step in the right direction, but I don't know if it will make it there. Still too much of the game is playing itself - your constantly pushed through speed boosts and bumpers and while it looks cool, you aren't even playing half the time. Then the added QTE events further take play out of your hand. Plus, no one wants this werewolf BS or these stupid side kicks. Sonic, Tales, Knuckles, Eggman. Maybe Amy. Only characters you need.
Nonetheless, good to see them...
obviously from the Wii version based on the QTE parts.
i think they are... but PSBeyond is just a playstation site so they didn't mention it.

I'm not going anywhere, someone made a false statement and I'm correcting it. Jenzo asked why MGS4 didn't sell as well as Gears 1, when, in fact, its on track to exceed it.
Metal Gear Solid 4 hit 3 million copies in 9 weeks. Add 'em up.

At any rate, I'm not trying to say MGS4 is better than Gears. Gears is awesome, so is Gears 2. Fact is, though, MGS4 on track to sell better than Gears 1 worldwide.
@Jenzo
Because its been out for more than 2 years now? MGS4 opening week in the US outsold Gears 1 in the US by 50K, and worldwide outsold Gears 1 by almost half a million. When MGS4 is 2 years old, it will have outsold Gears from when it was 2 years old.
I mean, at this point, its only like 1.5 million away after just 4-5 months. Not bashing Gears, but MGS is an established franchise with worldwide appeal. Gears has no appeal in Japan. Its only natural MGS4 w...
LMAO, biggest piece of trash I've ever read. I love how they call R1 a disappointment, when it was a critical and financial success. Also love how they think the game is about a virus that turns people into monsters. I don't think they've ever played the game.
Obviously, its Christmas time. Every game is gonna sell more then usual this time of year. That's also the reason the game continues to sell like ass in Japan - they don't celebrate Christmas(not like us, at least). If it keeps going up in Jan. 2009 and following, then lets talk.
