I feared this would happen after it took like 2 years for them to localize the other 2 titles.
I wish Sega would stop giving us crap like Golden Axe and Viking, and just give us Yakuza.
Hopefully it comes earlier than 2010. I also kinda hope it isn't a Twisted Metal game. Car combat feels so... 1990s. Besides, I'd like to see a new IP from the new studio.
I love Alien and Aliens, hopefully it can keep the quality of the movies.
If theres one thing I will miss about the westernization of Japanese games, it will be the the complete and disappointing lack of tentacles.
Funny how the same data can get 2 completely different sets of views
Such a crappy post, hurry up a get it up standards so we can approve it! The video is effing AMAZING!!
Haven't heard anything about this in ages... I still think while FFXI wasn't that good, Square is one of the few companies that has enough worldwide appeal to really put up any competition against Warcraft.
An exclusive PSN title from the guy that made Katamari Damacy. Its another 'non-game' type of thing, where you eat things and grow. The cool thing is, the online adds up the length of all the players on PSN and once they hit certain goals, they will universally unlock new areas. Sounds quirky, but I think its only like $5 so it should be interesting.
Skate 2 and LOTR: Conquest could be good, but this is really the calm before the storm, eh?
I still think David Hayter could make a great Snake in a live action movie. Hes got the voice(obviously), some acting experience, and the look.
That would be awesome, but if it takes them so long to make GT games, I wonder if there will be compromises made in both titles quality in order to keep their release windows
Nice trailer... LMAO at the SEXY NO HENSHIN part
Torrence, I agree with you 100%. Ashcroft is biased beyond belief and should be fired. He creates such sensationalist titles, and then hes a biased MS fanboy on top - how convenient he chose a quote from Game Republic, a company that only makes Sony games, to blow out of proportion.
though its true its only been out 3 days, those are the first week sales. the industry runs on a sunday to saturday week. so for its first industry week(only 3 days actually), the game sold 212K.
just like gears 2 sold 1.5 million copies its first 'week', even though it was released friday, so it only had 2 days to sell.
lol
That sucks... I hope the same fate doesn't fall to Valkyria either. Both are great games, but very niche games.
Valkyria didn't do that bad in sales... It sold 90K its first week in Japan. Considering that it was released almost a year ago now when the fanbase was less, its about equal in terms of commercial reception.
I like the idea of a fast paced stealth game... kinda like a modern ninja.
If anything, this just wants to make me play POP more, lol
did you read the article? first, it mentions the growth overall, and the software growth, so it doesn't ignore the growth and focus on the negative. second, i doubt its a 'doom' article, its from a ps3 site.
