No it would make it exactly the same console it is now it would just have exclusive Square Enix games.
"It's a plastic god to them."
Dude you're posting plenty of toxic comments here yourself, why don't you stop being a hypocrite and stop the childish trolling.
Lots of people have an axe to grind when it comes to MS and rather you like it or not the majority of those people are from their actual fan base who have had to deal with disappointment after disappointment, the fan base has had enough waiting around and getting half arsed versions of the games they were promised from MS, they have every right to be upset and no amount of gamepass superiority talk is going to fix that.
"Sony themselves are afraid of GamePass yet you fanboys STILL make excuses…. "
And with that all your credibility as an impartial multi-console owner went right out the window. Tell us you don't own a Playstation without telling us you don't own a Playstation, mission accomplished.
That's an extremely hypocritical and childish thing to say considering you just attacked him for his opinion. There's plenty of toxic fanboys who attack everything not xbox here so lets not start trolling and pointing crooked fingers on a site where your comment history can be viewed John.
@ isarai
This 100%.
I agree with the money part, It's always about how much money MS has but as for the "far superior games", lol that's so far from reality it's ridiculous to even suggest.
Only 42 more months until launch.
This looks like a blast. Can't wait to check it out.
Oh this again.
Well neither was Insomniac's Spider-Man but that hasn't stopped people from trying to make that argument. Sony is in the game to make money, they understand they'll make a whole lot more if they keep certain games on the competing platform that's why Destiny has remained multiplat after the Bungie acquisition and why some of their games have come to the PC market.
If COD comes to gamepass, if the game is $70 on Playstation if, if, if, sure are a lot of if...
They're not trying to stop the Activision purchase they were asked specifically about COD and it's relevance to gaming and they answered and now some are using that as an excsue to troll. MS has some of the games they've purchased on competing platforms so far but that's likely to change they are not going to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and not have exclusives to show for it, if that was the case wouldn't Stanfield and Hellblade ii be on competing platforms? Sony...
From the article: "Documents filed in the Epic Games v. Apple trial last year revealed Microsoft had been considering lowering the revenue split for PC games “in exchange for the grant of streaming rights to Microsoft.”
Wow, that is pretty "dastardly" that Microsoft would even consider that. MS had no choice but to create the overly hyped gamepass service and has spent hundreds of billions of dollars to buy up publishers and developers to take games away from...
For those that just read headlines and react, from the article:
"Documents filed in the Epic Games v. Apple trial last year revealed Microsoft had been considering lowering the revenue split for PC games “in exchange for the grant of streaming rights to Microsoft.”
If Microsoft had proceeded with its plans, that could have led to the company securing exclusive streaming rights on some games, preventing them from being available on rival streaming ser...
It's not like saying that at all, Insmoniac's Spider-Man game was never on xbox to begin with, xbox fans lost nothing as they never had it in the first place but all the games from the studios Microsoft purchased, games like DOOM, Quake, The Evil Within, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Dishonored, Prey, and dozens more have been on Playstation for decades. The two situations aren't even remotely comparable.
Awesome!
My point was pretty clear and Sony never said they were "threatened" by Elder Scrolls or anything else for that matter.
I can remember when Crackdown 3 was a "threat" to Sony, I can remember when Halo Infinite was a "threat" to Sony, when the Cloud was a "threat" to Sony, when Gamepass was a "threat", when more terflops was a "threat" and on and on and..............
Sony's still here and clearly isn't worried about idle threats.
The all female Ghostbusters movie is a pretty far reach to make your point but ok. The difference is the trailer for this GAME actually looks good. At the end of the day we don't know rather a game is worth the price until it launches and we get reviews from reputable sources and word of mouth from people who have actually played it, until then claims of "isn't worth" have little weight and the same goes for movies.
"Instead you're paying an industry premium for a low effort upgrade with less content."
So don't buy it then, problem solved. If half the effort was put into more important things than outraging over the price of this game no one is forcing you to buy we could probably solve world hunger.
