"Umm what. It's the other way around. Sony's hurting for cash since they're the ones taking the money...."
Apparently you don't get sarcasm. And just becasue Sony as a Corporation doesn't have the kind of money that Microsoft does as a Corporation doesn't mean Sony are "hurting for cash", tired argument.
No not like Spider-man, you guys keep trying that tired argument as well and it keeps failing, you guys never...
@Lightning77
"I'm calling Sony out"
That's nothing new.
"So it's OK for Sony to take the money but yet nobody else?"
Yeah I get what you're saying MS is definitely hurting for cash. Funny calling Sony "hypocrites" considering MS is complaining about Sony paying to keep games off of gamepass when MS buys up entire publishers and developers to do the same thing., speaking of...
Since Microsoft was willing to file court documents, per the article presented here recently, over this exact type of fake issue, either at worst MS themselves created these rumors or at the very least foolishly believed them. Either way it was indeed ludicrous and made even more so based on the fact the allegation came from a company spending billions to buy up publishers and developers with the sole intention of taking franchise away from other player bases.
It's a headline that was completely capable of existing. Kojima Productions is an interdependent self owned studio they can put the game on any platform or have it purchasable through any service they choose, its not that crazy at all people are just trying to create drama where there isn't any.
How much for you to cartwheel?
Yep it is a $70 upgrade, an upgrade no one is forcing you to buy or to keep telling everyone here repeatedly that you're not going to, we get it dude.
@Foxtrot
It's not a "commenting site" it's a game news site and how many times do we need to hear the same "opinion" from the same person? We're all pretty clear here on where he stands and the motivation behind it, this is not the first time we've all heard it and a...
I don't even get this comment and those like it, so you finished it three times already so why would you even be the target audience, people who keep complaining about the price are acting like this iteration was made specifically for them, it wasn't. There are plenty of people who never played it before, for them this is the definitive edition of the game that they are playing for the first time, no one is forcing you to buy it again so the complaining about the price from people who...
It could possibly get acclaim rather you like it or not, fixed it for you.
I'll just wait for the inevitable resolution article for this like usual and leave my torch and pitchfork where they are.
There wasn't any "chaos" over MLB, there won't be any "chaos" over this either. Saying so is just a not so subtle way to throw shade at a fanbase and every time these predictions come up they always fizzle out as little more than wishful thinking both in terms of the actual rumor itself and the weird hope for chaos to ensue becasue of it..
This has nothing to do with "paranoia", that's a disingenuous cop-out. An argument could easily be made that the "brainwashing" comes from the people who try to convince others that his kind of this is ok and we should all just accept it. You're entitled to your opinion but so is Jin_Sakai.
None of that has anything to do with the article here. There's no need for the off topic trolling.
Great game, fond memories.
The author lists game after game and then gives excuses as to why he personally doesn't like the majority of them or would rather wait until they came to PC. This is not an issue of Sony "doing enough" it's a problem with the authors personal taste and no one can help him with that.
A legal document confirmation of an "assumed" number is news actually.
Haven't they already had big games hit the service? Where was the "huge swell" from Horizon and Halo Infinite? Isn't the service already available on multiple devices why would adding the app to TV's make a huge difference? This "storm" you guys keep trying to sell everyone on isn't likely to be much more then a brief down poor. I'm not saying gp won't see an increase but this constant over exaggeration just isn't going to happen and there's...
"skyrocket", that's highly doubtful you're not accounting for the fact that the majority of those people who are will download those games on gp already have gp.
Why do they need to? Sounded like the issue most people complaining about them had was that they were "cluttering up" the beginning of the new games list, this resolves that issue.
Ok so don't. Everyone complaining about the price of this game are acting like it was made specifically for them. There are plenty of people in the world have never spent anything for it, this is for them.
This is one instance and not representative of the entirety of games MS pays to put on gamepass.
