Well it only took the reveal of what ONE developer was paid to argue that it was "good" for developers, so......
Did you buy it? If you didn't then you couldn't have possibly been "ripped off", can we stop with the hyperbole please?
"I think we have to give the game time in the market, that it be sold, etc."
Oh so going straight to gamepass isn't so beneficial for developers after all and they do need to sell it for cost in the market place, what a shocker.
This was clearly an ad for xbox nothing more.
Then there's this nonsense;
"After that, the only Sony-made PS5 exclusives I can think of are Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine,"
As if God of War: Ragnarok isn't on the way. If this dude doesn't know that then he has no business being in the game "journalism" biz.
He complains about what little Sony has for the rest of the year (which is much bett...
Yes it is exactly about that. Not buying it which you have the choice to do means it's not being accepted. Price increases happen, there was a time when people moaned about the $60 price point, time to get use to the new price or find a new hobby.
No one is required to come back for a third time, if you've already played it or you feel its not worth the price then dont buy it but that didn't stop the endless complaining about it.
Guess "only half the game" was still worth an 8 out of 10 for metro.co.uk.
"completely pointless remake"
Gives it an 8. Love it.
"Double the price"? So the original was only $35? It's not "double the price". But this bait should definitely get double the clicks.
"and expect you to follow blindly and happily."
lol, gotta love the irony of that comment.
Your suspicions are probably wrong and this is far batter than the GWG offering for the month regardless.
Doubt they'll make that request, besides the best way to prevent games from releasing on the competitors system is to spend billions on entire publishers and developers.
So it's not a fact to say not everyone shares your opinion and would rather own their games? LOL, ok.
So what if they sit on shelf's that's called a game collection that's how it works.
You're trying to suggest you know what "most" gamers want, you don't speak for "most" gamers.
At least it's clear now that back compat is effectively pointless so we're making progress.
@ Orchard
I'm wide awake and doing the smart thing by waiting to see how it actually turns out instead of making outlandish claims and predictions.
@Orchard
"Subscriptions make more sense than outright purchases for most games."
That's not a fact it's your opinion and not everyone shares it, some people would prefer to own their games. If everything is so "one and done" as you suggest I guess theres no need to boast about back compat to play those old games then.
@Lifexline
That's irrelevant some people prefer to own their games ou...
I absolutely do believe more is spent on add-ons and consumables as gamepass games are rife with mtx but I don't believe for one second subscribers spend 60% more on games.
