I never see Halo: MCC or GTA5 PS4/X1 versions get any sort of hate, only TLOUR. The salt and butthurt that surround any of ND's titles is ridiculous.
In my opinion, if the developer is working on new material as well as the remaster, and the remaster isn't affecting or hindering the development of the new material in any way...then remasters are fine. It gets the devs and publishers more revenue, and gives people the option to play (or replay) some classics from past ...

That sounds great. I'd love the ability to switch between tradition MP and SP exploring. Kinda like how Destiny works in the sense that at any time you can just go back into orbit and choose to play in the Crucible. That would be ideal.

That's simply not true....the framerate analysis in this article takes place in various different cut-scenes and gameplay scenarios, and in each scene the PS4 trounces the X1 in terms of...everything, including framerate. They haven't just chosen one specific scene where the PS4 comes out on top and used that.
