I evolved into a member of NeoGAF, although I like coming back here every now and again just to check up on the resident loonies.
"the disparity we've seen so far has nothing to do with PS4's capabilities and had to do with the rushed XB1 dev tools. "
Lol.
"its supposed edge"
Lmao.
"but by then it won't matter with DX12 and azure coming."

Lol, wut? Both BF4 and Titanfall are superior to the latest CoD.
If Advanced Warfare doesn't bring the good, this franchise is done.
Man...to think, I've been playing ND games for almost 20 years. Crash Bandicoot was one of the first games I remember playing as a boy, and is probably responsible for my love of videogames to this day.
Lmfao @ 10:30 onwards.
(Minor spoilers throughout review. Be warned, TLOU virgins).
YESSSS!
Woah, what the hell? All he was doing was offering to play with people. Why be such an asshole?
Friends list snobbery....now I've seen it all. I say he's better off without snobs like you cluttering HIS friends list.
"Some of my friends went over to PS4 and came right back to xbox in no time."
Yeah....suuuuuure they did. XD
The sticks on the DS4 are much better than the XB1 sticks in terms of resistance, I feel like I have more control and confidence in my aiming with the DS4 compared to when I play Titanfall on the XB1. Last gen, the 360 controller had resistance in the sticks and the DS3 had none...now the roles have reversed and the XB1 sticks feel too loose,...
"Gears is just on another level in terms of being a total package. "
I wouldn't say the total package, personally. It had some of, if not *the* best gameplay of any game I've ever played...but I still feel certain areas were lacking. The stories themselves were never anything mindblowing, imo, the books did a much better job in creating a believable world and was just plainly better written.
I also think, aside from Dom...and maybe Marcus, t...
I would buy a Gears trilogy remaster in 60fps DAY ONE.
"and you never feel thrilled"
You must never have been on a Gnasher rampage and/or played the Horde mode. My condolences.
I hope they revisit the darker tone of the first game. I loved the other two games, but something was definitely lost in terms of how the campaigns felt.
Take the horde mode from the third game, multiplayer from the second game, and the campaign from the first game and you would have the perfect Gears, imo.
Halo and Gears had some pretty rad cut-scenes, bro.
Also: HAHAHAHAHA, that is the saltiest comment I've seen in a while. This is an XBOX article, keep that shit outta here.
Read it in a pirate voice. It helps.
Lmao, Halo 3....wasn't that back in, like, 2007?
Damn, you guys cling to your bitterness and resentment for a loooong time, don't you?
@pumpkin eater
"- PhotoMode applies additional processing and higher detail. The stuff doesn't quite look like that in motion."
You're wrong, the photo-mode in TLOU:R applies nothing, apart from a few colour filters if the user chooses to do so. If you played it yourself you would know that all it takes is a press of the left stick to enter photo-mode, there is no loading screen while it adds post-process effects (unlike Forza 5 and GT5/6), ...
You just press the share button to take the shot, and then they will save to your capture gallery.
"Leaving aside his twin brother for the PS3"
Twin? You mean his older, better looking, and faster brother. With more to offer. Lol.
@Ripsta
I was banished for 14 days. I've learned my lesson and promise to be a good member of society.
So what? Ghosts is garbage in comparison to BF4 and TF when it comes to gameplay and fun-factor. No amount of sales can change that.
People saying it holds the crown just because it sells more is hilarious. What a shallow factor in determining a games success. Garbage sells in this day and age, in all mediums, sales have never meant less than what they do today.
