There's a difference between the game not being dead in the sense that the game is still selling to new customers, and in the sense that no one talks about it or plays it any more.
In terms of the latter, it is pretty dead. Great game, just has no legs and is pretty shallow. Needs more content and more variety. Hopefully they address those issues in the sequel.

Agreed. I was watching my friend play The Last of Us last night and, despite it still being an amazing game on PS3, it was immediately obvious that it was a last gen game. The image quality and framerate were just bad in comparison with games i have played on my PS4 and X1.
Like Volkama said, hopefully the higher sales of current gen titles in comparison to their last-gen counterparts will persuade publishers to follow other publishers who are focusing on current-gen only. T...

Sorry, but there isn't any article that can tell someone if they can or can't see the difference between 1080p and 720p at certain distances, it is completely up to the individuals perception, and thankfully, the majority of people perception is good enough for them to be able to see it. Otherwise, 1080p TV's wouldn't have been adopted...
