"Nuclear Winter" refers to the ash that falls after an atomic explosion that makes the landscape look like its coated in snow, but yeah i do agree with you, snowy areas would be awesome.
I seriously have to question the choices some devs make, squadding up before joining a game is very useful, i used it all the time in BC2. It should be a no-brainer decision, taking it out is baffling.
Paying customers should have a little more say in decisions like this, imo.
One way i could definitely see myself using it is with help with games such as Fallout or Skyrim, when i was playing those games i was constantly getting my ipod to Google certain things that i needed help with (clearing every mission in every city for example), it would be really helpful to just snap to the internet and snap right back into the game.

Yeah, that is just total humiliation and disrespect to your customers, to take their real life money from them and then tell them they still have to earn in-game money to buy the car(which defeats the whole point of paying for it with real money in the first place).....what a middle finger.
If the game has tons of content on-disc already then i don't think adding a few MT's is too bad (but they still suck). But for games that are blatantly being stripped down compared to their predecessors (Forza 5), having so many MT's and having them so overpriced (maybe major-transactions would be a more accurate word, $100 for one car!?) is just wrong in my opinion.
I also think that if a game is going to rely quite heavily on MT's then it should be discount...
I know what you mean, ive said the exact same thing before multiple times. There's just a certain quality to PS exclusives....i can never really put my finger on it. They are just well made, very polished games and you can tell how much love and attention went into them....that's the best way i can explain it.
Crackdown (1st game) was awesome btw.
If there's one thing i like about the Infamous games its how good they feel to play, very quick precise movements which made climbing and using your powers very smooth. From the gameplay of SS that ive seen so far it seems to be the same, which is a good thing.
Can not wait to play this game.

Stripping down Forza 5 as much as they have and selling it at extremely overpriced DLC is disgusting. Forza 4 had microtransactions and DLC too....but it already had a ton of content to begin with so it wasn't anywhere near as bad, Turn 10 has really shocked me with Forza 5, i used to respect them alot during the earlier Forza games, but not now.
You should read the reason (excuse) for adding so many microtransactions in one of the interviews, its laughable. Can't rem...
Look at the GIF's DigitalRaptor just posted and honestly tell me if you think Forza 5 looks better than that.....it's just not possible. Driveclub looks leagues better than Forza 5, day/night cycles, dynamic lighting, hand crafted backgrounds, better textures, better everything....its a no brainer.

If more indies means more games like Warthunder, Planetside 2 and Resogun then keep em comin'! Next year is when all the great retail games are coming out for PS4, couple them with the indies we have now and the ones that are upcoming and that's a great variety of games to play in 2014.
